We are looking for an experience Consultant – Data & Analytics (DA). The successful candidate will play the role of analysing the data, generating insights based on business user requirement at the same time get your hand dirty to develop ETL to support the data model that support the analytics. You will also guide junior analysts, sharing your expertise and fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment within the team
As part of the team you will play an important role in:
- Involve in DA project development life cycle, that cover the following but not exhaustive
- Requirement Study
- System Mapping / Functional Mapping
- Design and Build ETL (Cloud Base – HDFS, PySpark, Postgresql)
- Datamart Design
- Report Design (PowerBI , Tableau, SSRS)
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret complex datasets to provide actionable business insights.
- Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions (dashboards, scorecards, and reports) using tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Work with stakeholders to identify business requirements and translate them into analytical models and reporting solutions.
- Design and implement data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) to support reporting, analytics, and decision-making processes.
- Build and optimize data pipelines, queries, and data models for efficient and scalable reporting.
- Monitor and evaluate business performance metrics, highlighting trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with IT, data engineers, and business teams to ensure data accuracy, governance, and consistency.
- Present findings and recommendations to management in a clear and concise manner.
- Support ad-hoc analysis and reporting needs for strategic initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science & Information Technology or equivalent with at least 2-3 years of experience.
- Required skills:
- BI tools: PowerBI, Tableau, SSRS
- Scripting language: SQL, Pyspark, Python
- DB knowledge: Postgresql, mssqsl, mysql
- Data Modelling methodology: medallion, OBT
- Ingestion methodology
- Knowledge in Cloud Platform or other Cloud Big Data tools will have added advantage.
