We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Design and Technology Teacher to join an innovative and supportive teaching team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and practical lessons in Design and Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging students to think critically, solve problems, and develop real-world skills. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a Design Technology Teacher:

  1. Plan and deliver high-quality, hands-on lessons in areas such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, Engineering, Graphics, or Textiles (depending on specialism).
  2. Inspire students to develop a passion for design, creativity, and innovation.
  3. Maintain a safe and well-organised workshop environment in line with health and safety standards.
  4. Assess student work and provide clear feedback to support progress and attainment.
  5. Contribute to curriculum planning and the development of resources.
  6. Support extracurricular and enrichment activities related to design and technology.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A relevant degree in Design and Technology or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of the DT curriculum and current educational developments.
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • A commitment to fostering creativity, independence, and problem-solving in students.

What will you do :

  • Operate, monitor, and support hybrid cloud environments, including OpenShift clusters (on-premises) and infrastructure in Azure and AWS
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support, managing service requests and incidents through the IT Helpdesk and Service Desk
  • Perform user access management, rights enforcement, and directory services operations using Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
  • Apply system and security updates, conduct routine patching, and implement configuration changes in alignment with security and compliance requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR)

  • Contribute to automation initiatives using scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools when applicable

What you must have :

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent practical experience will also be considered
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in system administration, infrastructure operations, or a comparable role
  • Proven experience with Windows Server and Linux system administration
  • Proficiency in directory services and cloud platforms: Active Directory, Azure, and Microsoft 365
  • Familiarity with virtualization environments, basic networking (DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls) and storage networking
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Post-graduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience expected.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in related discipline.
  • Or, equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of work-related experience required, preferably in business/manufacturing systems.
  • Functional expertise in the SAP FICO module is required.
  • Extensive cross-module knowledge in SAP is essential.
  • Experience working in complex global SAP environments is a must.
  • Experience in multiple full SAP implementations and SAP integration, including design, solutioning, configuration, integration, testing, and training, is essential.
  • Experience with all stages of developing custom SAP applications is required, including requirement gathering, creating functional specifications, design, coordinating development, testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • Experience in designing, solutioning and architecting Supply Chain processes would be an advantage.
  • Strong techno-functional experience with a strong understanding or experience with new SAP applications and technologies, such as Fiori, AI-enabled applications, BTP, and Signavio, is preferred.

IT Technician – Job Description

Job Requirements:

Diploma in IT or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Willingness to work in a shift-based environment if required. Basic programming knowledge is preferred(Bash, Shell, Windows CMD).

Roles and Responsibilities:

Provide technical support for Unix, Linux, and Windows operating systems, including troubleshooting and resolving system issues. Perform hands-on troubleshooting and maintenance for Sun workstations and Windows desktops. Support business applications, software installations, and operating system updates. Manage cloning and backup processes for Sun workstations and Windows desktops to ensure data integrity and system recovery readiness. Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, procedures, and regular reports to support IT operations. Assist in monitoring and supervising repair work, infrastructure upgrades, or project-related tasks as needed. Ensure adherence to IT policies, security protocols, and compliance standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system efficiency and user experience. Continuously explore opportunities for automation and process improvements.

Responsibilities:

IT person responsible in Trim and Probe area(Wafer Test Probing) for administration, configuration & end-user supports. Responsible for installing and configuring, modifying and upgrading of the System that use for production such as hardware, software, network and related services according to checklist and procedures. Managing and troubleshooting of system(Sun OS, Windows) breakdown during time frame given. Improve process for trim and probe system flow and automate some area to reduce manual flow. Developing software for automation solutions. Supporting existing software solutions and legacy systems, providing extensions when needed. Provide weekly report for system breakdown history. Provide document or training to technical support. Participate in on-call support 24x7 for manufacturing support.

Requirements:

Minimum:

Possess a Degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent. Proficient in English with good documentation skills. Ability to work with minimum supervision coupled with strong integrity skill. Practical knowledge on Unix, Linux, Windows OS technologies. Practical knowledge on Sun workstation and windows desktop equipment. Willing to learn on ADI systems.

Desired:

Experience with Unix, Redhat, Windows OS. Experience with programming interface. Experience with SQL Server, other DBMS will be a plus. Knowledge in Unix, Redhat(5,6,7) Command. Knowledge in developmental languages such as C#, PYTHON, SQL, PERL. Unix/Linux certified highly desirable.
