Role Overview
As Project Lead, you will be responsible for:
- Providing strategic leadership for MALRA's programmes and projects.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in in Social Work, Community Development, Sociology, Psychology, or other relevant field
- Minimum 8–10 years' experience in programme management, nonprofit leadership, or community development.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Track record in fundraising, grant management, or donor relations is an advantage.
- Passionate about social justice, health equity, and serving marginalized communities.
- Experience in working with and reporting to a board

The Role
We're hiring a mid-level (3-5 years) Software Engineer cum Project Manager to ship production systems on cloud platforms (GCP preferred), and hybrid environments (eg. on-prem and cloud), and lead delivery for cross-functional projects. You'll turn ambiguous planning problems into scalable software, coordinate timelines and stakeholders, and ensure we deliver measurable impact.
What You'll DoEngineering (≈70%)
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain backend services and APIs across various cloud platforms (private and public) and on-premise servers, supporting the entire software lifecycle from development to deployment in customer-facing environments.
- Rapidly prototype internal tools and external features using accelerators/low-code platforms, then extend and harden them for quality, security, and performance.
- Implement and maintain APIs, and integrate with existing internal and external data sources.
