- Meet the performance metrics (HPU, DPPM, Cycle time, Job Closure, Cross Training, Scrap / Reject and attendance).
- Take part or be trained on company initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing.
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Admin / Economics / IE / Production Management and related disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years working experience in a high-volume high mix production environment managing production with at least 3 years in supervisory position.
- Experience working with Oracle/ ERP/ SAP/ MRP tools.
- Experience working on lean manufacturing and quality improvement projects.
- Computer software knowledge, especially in Microsoft Office.
- This role is 100% onsite.

The successful candidate has the ability to work in a culturally diverse, fast-paced environment as well as analyze and solve problems in an in an independent work environment. The position is based at the Genesis facility in Scottsville, Kentucky.
You Will- Set priorities for the team to ensure task completion and coordinate work activities with guidance from the Production Manager
- Make decisions that are guided by policies, procedures and business plans
- Require an understanding and application of procedures and concepts within own discipline and basic knowledge of other disciplines
- Train novice employees on the most current Standard Operating Procedures
- Conduct all people management responsibilities for direct reports, including but not limited to labour management, performance management, recruitment and training and development
- Verify accurate and timely production information and records are maintained
- Assist with herd-health testing protocols, submission forms and timely dispatch of test samples
- Supervise and be responsible for daily laboratory activities, including but not limited to:
- Semen processing;
- Laboratory hygiene;

- Calibration and operation of all analytical instruments and processes;

Mechanical Supervisor, Ipoh Plant
Job Summary
To supervise and arrange service and maintenance for plant machinery and equipment including troubleshooting and correction.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Supervise and follow up on the service and maintenance work of the mechanical fitters
- Plan daily and weekly maintenance activities
- Instruct, coordinate, and plan manpower for maintenance work within the PM/Shutdown timeline
- Ensure all fabrication jobs are done within timeline with proper storage
- Keep proper records of work attendance, daily reports, equipment breakdowns, and spare parts purchases
- Ensure safety rules and regulations are followed at all times
- Maintain proper housekeeping at the maintenance workshop and workplace
- Ensure all hydraulic and pneumatic systems are in proper condition

Ensure that maintenance work is performed safely and in compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards. Conduct regular inspections of highways and infrastructure to identify maintenance needs and prioritize repairs. Develop maintenance schedules and allocate resources effectively to ensure timely completion of maintenance projects. Monitor the quality of work performed by maintenance crews and provide feedback and guidance as needed. Coordinate with other departments and agencies, including engineering, traffic management, and environmental services, to address maintenance issues and concerns. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment usage, and material inventory. Train and mentor maintenance staff in proper maintenance techniques, safety procedures, and equipment operation. Respond to emergency situations, such as accidents, hazardous spills, or severe weather events, to ensure the safety and integrity of the highway system. Responsible in supervising. Evaluate and verifying all sub-contract works carried out on site by the sub-contractors. Manage and to verify the Repair and Replacement Works carried out sub-contractors. Assists in verifying the Work Programme on Routine Maintenance Work submitted by the sub-contractor prior to the submission and approval form the client. Ensure the compliance of OSHA requirement on site. Undertake any other related duties, task and responsibilities as assigned, instructed, and directed by immediate superior.
Requirements
Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent Proven experience working in highway maintenance or a related field, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
