We're looking for an experienced site leader to take charge of high-rise building projects from ground-breaking to handover. You’ll manage construction progress, budgets, manpower, and contractors while ensuring safety, quality, and delivery are never compromised. This is a hands-on leadership role with full accountability for project outcomes. Ideal for someone who thrives on structure, coordination, and speed.
Oversee end-to-end project delivery: scheduling, construction, quality control, and safety
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams from pre-construction planning to DLP
Drive progress on-site, plan activities, manage manpower and materials efficiently
Monitor project milestones, cost, claims, variation orders, and billing
Conduct site reviews, ensure all documentation, authority submissions, and permits are in order
Lead regular site meetings, resolve technical and operational issues promptly
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (OSHA, QLASSIC, etc.)
Review risk assessments, coordinate accident investigations, and implement corrective actions
Provide project updates and reports to senior management or stakeholders
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
15+ years of experience in construction, with strong exposure to high-rise or large-scale developments
In-depth knowledge of contracts, construction methods, procurement, and authority requirements
Proven leadership in managing site teams, consultants, and contractors
Strong coordination, reporting, and decision-making skills
Proficient in site scheduling, budgeting, and progress tracking tools
Able to work full-time in Klang Valley

Contract Principal Accountabilities Senior Engineer, Piping Construction (Offshore) shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: Provide support for technical bid clarifications and review technical proposals related to Piping Construction for Offshore Platforms from EPCIC bidders. Manage and supervise the EPCIC Contractor and their Subcontractors in the Piping Construction processes, including Fabrication, Erection, Hydrotest, Reinstatement, and Pre-Commissioning of the Lang Lebah Offshore Central Processing Platform (CPP). Ensure the construction works are completed with a focus on quality, safety, and timely delivery. Act as the focal point for reviewing all Piping Construction procedures, schedules, work sequences, shop drawings, test packs, job cards, and other documents prepared by the EPCIC Contractor and their Subcontractors. Assist the Construction Manager in expediting and closely monitoring Construction work progress, analyzing root causes, and providing mitigations/solutions in case of delays. Qualifications Bachelors degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Masters degree in civil is advantageous but not necessary. Possesses a professional certificate from accredited Bodies/Associations, providing an advantage but not necessary. Minimum of 15 years of direct experience in Offshore Platform Piping Construction works, including involvement in CPP EPC/EPCI/EPCIC Construction projects. Demonstrates work experiences on both the Client side (with major O&G Companies) and EPC Contractor side (with major Offshore EPC Contractors, such as McDermott, Saipem, Hyundai Heavy Industries, Samsung Heavy Industries, MMHE, or equivalent). Exhibits extensive knowledge and experience in Piping Engineering/Construction of Offshore Platforms, including quality control, schedule control, and project management. Familiarity with international codes and standards related to Offshore Piping Engineering Design, Fabrication, Testing, and Quality Standards in the Oil & Gas industry and relevant local regulations.
