Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Data Engineer and Data Modeller to understand data sources, transformation logic, and business requirements for the project

The Role: As a Data Analyst, you will work on maintaining, exploring, and developing our core analytical datasets. You'll perform ad-hoc analysis, create impactful data visualizations, and collaborate with stakeholders to support key business functions. Your role includes building aggregated tables, performing exploratory data analysis, and designing data models to provide predictive and historical insights.

What you will be working on

You will be responsible for managing datasets, creating visualizations, and collaborating on project requirements with stakeholders. Your work will include exploring data and developing efficient and meaningful visualizations via BI tools to ensure data-driven insights are readily available and actionable.

Core Responsibilities
  • Data Exploration and Development: Manage core analytical datasets, assist in data investigation, and build additional aggregated tables and data layers to support visualization needs.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct exploratory and ad-hoc analysis, providing stakeholders with insights in dashboards and presentations.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to document requirements, plan and manage project roadmaps, and create data visualizations that effectively communicate data insights.
Skills and experience

Minimum Experience:

  • Degree in computer science, statistics, economics, engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience working with data at an intermediate/advanced level.
  • Proficiency in building complex data visualizations with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.).
  • Strong SQL skills, including analytical SQL and DDL.
  • Experience with stakeholder management and requirements gathering.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS, Snowflake).
Nice to haves
  • Experience in consumer-facing or e-commerce data, especially within travel or cashback sectors.
  • Experience with user event data, product performance analysis, and complex analyses (CAC/LTV, cohort calculations, etc.).
  • Background or interest in Python, scheduling tools (e.g., Airflow), or version control (e.g., Git).
  • Any background in data engineering is a plus but not required.
