**Job Summary**
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Representative to join our team, based in KL Malaysia, focusing on the sales of valve actuators (including pneumatic, hydraulic, and electro-hydraulic types) across the Asia region. The ideal candidate will leverage their technical background and industry experience to develop customer relationships, identify sales opportunities, formulate regional sales strategies, and achieve sales targets within the oil & gas, petrochemical, and chemical sectors in Asia.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ **Regional Sales Leadership** : Take full responsibility for the sales of valve actuators in the Asia region, including market development, customer management, and target achievement.
+ **Customer Relationship Management** : Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing customers in the target industries across Asia.
+ **Sales Opportunity Development** : Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new sales opportunities through market research, cold calling, and networking within the region.
+ **Sales Strategy & Market Forecasting** : Formulate and implement regional sales strategies aligned with company objectives; conduct regular market demand forecasting to support inventory planning and business decision-making.
+ **Sales Pipeline Management** : Maintain C4C for accounts, including customer profiling, organizational chart, visit reports, and customer drivers. Prepare comprehensive sales data and materials and actively participate in internal sales pipeline review meetings (in-person or virtual) to report progress, address challenges, and align on next steps action.
+ **Technical Consultation & Quotation** : Conduct product presentations and technical consultations to customers; prepare and submit accurate sales quotations, negotiate contracts, and ensure smooth order processing.
+ **Cross-functional Collaboration** : Collaborate closely with internal teams (tendering, engineering and service etc.) to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve regional issues promptly.
+ **Market Intelligence** : Keep abreast of Asia regional market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to provide valuable feedback to the sales management team.
+ **Target Achievement** : Achieve and exceed assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the Asia region.
**Job Requirements**
+ **Education:** Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or related disciplines preferred).
+ **Experience:** A minimum of 2 years of sales experience in related industry
**-** Preferred: Prior sales experience with valve actuators (pneumatic, hydraulic, electro-hydraulic) within the oil & gas, petrochemical, or chemical industries, with exposure to the Asia market
+ **Skills:**
**-** Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively across diverse Asian cultures.
- Strong capabilities in sales strategy formulation and market forecasting.
- Proficiency in preparing sales materials and reporting in sales pipeline review meetings.

**ROLE DESCRIPTION**
Water Quality (WQ) Platform Asia is looking for an After Market Representative who will work with the ANZ Sales Teams in Malaysia to achieve breakthrough growth with our existing / potential customers. As a member of the WQ ANZ Sales team, this individual uses the tools and methods of VES to solve problems and implement process improvements to achieve key business objectives.
**What You'll Be Doing** _(Job Responsibilities)_
+ Create and pursue leads from various sources and convert them into offers to order to sales in timebound manner by engaging customers through digital modes (telephone/ emails).
+ Will have monthly targets for order booking and shipping.
+ The variable incentive will be linked to orders/shipment numbers. The activities involved in delivering the results will comprise of:
+ Engaging telephonically customers' Technical and procurement functions for sale of lab instrumentations and reagents.
+ Convincing customers of Hach product features and comparison with competition
+ On time offer preparation for different types of opportunities - Govt/ Muni, Industrial, service etc.
+ Replying queries to customers on offers and other details related to our products.
+ Ensuring order shipment to customer by working together with Finance and Supply Chain teams
+ Implement Tele calling initiative to generate leads for instrumentation and reagents business in your respective market.
+ Leveraging CRM (Sales force.com = SFDC) for data collection and putting together basic data tables and analysis of customers for creating strategies for growing sales
+ Implementing daily analysis and driving Daily management/ visual management rhythms for booking- shipping -receivables
+ Own and manage Funnel in SFDC for assigned territory.
+ Foster good relationship with external and internal customers.
**What We Are Looking For** **_(Skills & Qualifications)_**
+ 3-8 years of experience in field sales / inside sales roles (preferably in life science/analytical/water quality industry).
+ Degree in Chemistry / Scientific education background would be an added advantage.
+ Above average English fluency (preferably experience with different English accent).
+ Proactive and action oriented, with strong problem-solving abilities.
+ Past experience in with reputed multinational organizations working in a process driven environment with experience in using CRM in a disciplined manner.
+ Hands-on and detail-oriented but also able to see the big picture.
+ Very customer focused and strong interpersonal and communications skills.
+ Independent worker, capable of operating in a fast-moving, ever-changing environment and able to effectively deal with difficult situations.
+ Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities.
+ Open to 360 communication feedback.

Position Summary:
This role is a Southeast Asia Customer Service role and you will report to the Customer Service, Supervisor. You will drive ownership and responsibility for the day-to-day order fulfillment tasks and provide Excellent Services to our Customers and Channel Partners. You are professional, accountable, Customer centric (Customers First mentality) and enjoy working in a fast-paced matrixed environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ You will be the main contact window for customer, channel partner and team member through phone, email, and or meeting mode of communication. You will act like an Account Management by providing proactive communication on any changes or delays and provide alternate options/solutions.
+ You respond optimally and efficiently to customers inquiries, ranging from quotation, orders, product availability, pricing, delivery, billing, return/replacement, complaints and other forms of documentation (e.g. proof of delivery, etc). This includes preparation of vital documentation to complete the order transactions in a timely manner.
+ Have close interlocks with other functions such as Sales, Supply Chain & Global Factories to meet Customer's expectations, as well as work with Finance on Accounts Receivables (AR), Accounts Payables (AP) issues and follow up where needed.
+ Drive the Order to Cash process, including processes such as order creation, order status communication, purchase order processing, payment & LC handling, preparation of shipping documents and coordination with logistics, distribution, and forwarders on shipments, billing and invoicing
+ Responsible to meet Operational Excellence targets by meeting Key Performance Index and Service Level Agreements.
+ Participate in process improvement when needed and ensure documentation and order processes are in line with corporate guidelines and compliance.
+ Comfortable working across borders, time zones, and cultures, dealing with a variety of global stakeholders
+ Accountable to maintain accurate records of orders, inventory, and shipments.
+ Prepare reports on order status / ad-hoc meeting.

+ International Trading Knowledge
+ Fluent in both spoken and written English, Bhasa Melayu, additional language skills such as Mandarin, Bhasa Indonesian, Thai, Vietnamese are a plus
+ Possess attentive listening and problem-solving skills.
