To enhance our successful Operations Team in AT&S Malaysia in Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah, we are looking for a passionate Line Supervisor (Assembly)
OverviewYour Responsibilities
Responsibilities- Supervisor overall activity of Assembly production lines for a high productivity by optimization of the human resource investment, shift, operational, administrative and machine availability, and coordinating the related technical resources
- Communicate and align the arrangement with the peer in other shifts
- Supervise and ensure the operational execution by the staff is completely compliance with the defined procedure and instruction
- Drive for the implementation of 5S and safety standard to ensure shop floor environment is always maintained at a very clean and tidy level
- Abide the progress of production lot according to the schedule
- Anticipate on, and recognize and take action for events/situations that could adversely affect production efficiencies
- Drive for problem solving for any issue related to production in timely manner
- Coordinate with related department and staff to assure the shift staff hiring and qualification accomplishment to cope with production demand
- Ensure training to all the shift staff is systematic organized and well prepared, aiming that the trainee effectively learn and understand how to execute defined rules and task completion
- Information distribution and communication between operators, technicians and process engineers as well as other co-working departments
- Monitor and ensure the proper usage of Manufacturing Execution System
- Drive for operational development
- Supervise the vacancy planning so as to minimize production impact
- Manage and reduce the wastage of the production resources
- Implementation of TS16949 and ISO 14001, OHSAS18001
- Other duties assign by superior
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Material Science fields or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years experience as supervisory role in Semiconductor or PCB or Substrate Fabrications, Wafer Fabrication, Assembly and Test Engineering, Maintenance or Production Operations or equivalent, (required to work in clean room enviroment)
- Knowledge of quality tools: 8D, SPC, MSA, DOE, FMEA, CP, JMP Software, Six Sigma Process tools
- Strong problem solving skills, good analytical skills
- Able to work independently, minimum supervision, dedicated, results oriented, hardworking and able to work under pressure
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to lead teams of Engineers, Technicians to meet strict installation and qualification milestone

**Summary**
The Engineer, Manufacturing Process is responsible for designing, developing, deploying and optimizing processes for manufacturing to achieve quality cost and delivery goals for Celestica and its customers products.
**Detailed Description**
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
+ Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes to support customer products.
+ Develop application software and tooling for a series of complex machines and mechanical process steps within a manufacturing sector.
+ Execute with support, capability of machines and process steps using Design of Experiments and statistical methods to ensure maximum utilization of critical resources, maximum throughput, minimum cost and capacity growth; involves integrating equipment, people, material flow, and information systems.
+ Solve technical product, process, component, and related problems that affect the efficient operation and/or manufacture of products.
+ Provide feedback to product designers on suitability of designs for manufacturability with supervision.

**Physical Demands**
+ Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
+ Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
+ Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
+ Occasional travel may be required.
