The
Senior Test Manufacturing Technician
will be responsible for maintenance, calibration and repair of all test equipment used in manufacturing processes of Avionics products. This role requires a highly skilled technician with a strong background in electrical systems, as well as experience in equipment diagnostics and troubleshooting. You will ensure that all testing equipment operates efficiently and meets the necessary regulatory and quality standards
Key Responsibilities
Test Equipment Maintenance:
Perform preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan & operation Develop & Execute maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion.
Troubleshooting And Repair
Diagnosing & Troubleshooting complex Test equipment failures or issues. Implement effective tactics to reduce downtime for continuous operations.
Calibration And Testing
Calibrate test equipment as per industry standards & Mfg specifications. Perform verification tests for equipment to operate within set tolerances.
Documentation And Compliance
Maintain detailed records of maintenance, calibration and repair activities. Ensure compliance with ISO industry standards and Site quality protocols.
Technical Support And Guidance
Provide technical expertise & support for engineering and production. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues proactively.
Team Leadership And Training
Lead the equip maintenance best practices and equipment troubleshooting. Mentor team members to get knowledgeable on new equipment upgrades.
Process Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve maintenance & efficiency of equipment. Collaborate with engineering teams for enhancements to test equipment.
Inventory Management
Maintain inventory of spares or repaired parts and equipment as necessary. Coordinate procurement of parts as necessary to maintain test equipment.
Qualifications
Diploma or equivalent in Electrical, Electronics or related Engineering. Minimum 5 years’ experience in Test equipment maintenance & repairs. Strong skills of usage and maintenance of various Test equipment types. Relevant certifications (e.g., IPC, COMPTIA A+) are added advantages.
Skills Required
Strong technical knowledge of Electrical or Electronic systems. Proficient in Test Equipment diagnostics tools & troubleshooting. Excellent analytical skills to diagnose equipment issues accurately. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintain quality standards. Effective written & verbal communication for cross-functional teamwork.
Additional Requirements
Willingness to work flexible hours or overtime as required based on demand. Physical ability to be able to lift and move the Equipment and tools as needed. Strong organizational skills
