Job Description
onsemi is seeking an energetic, highly organized individual to supervise the work area within material production. This person will supervise the work within material production by organizing teams, assessing team members’ performance, providing training/coaching and overall management of the group. The Production Supervisor will ensure area production targets are achieved per plans and will work directly with PE team members as required to determine improvements to processes. This position reports to the Manager, Growth.
Responsibilities- Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills to foster collaboration and clarity across teams.
- Lead, motivate, and guide subordinates to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
- Strategically plan and execute initiatives to drive operational success.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
- Build and nurture high-performing teams through effective team-building strategies.
- Apply logical thinking and sound decision-making to resolve challenges and drive improvements.
- Supervise a team of manufacturing specialists in daily operations to meet production targets.
- Promote and implement a positive work culture, ensuring high standards of housekeeping and equipment maintenance.
- Address employee grievances, complaints, and disciplinary matters through effective counseling and resolution.
- Conduct prompt investigations into maverick lots, implementing containment actions and coordinating with QA, equipment, and process engineering to minimize impact.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process simplification, labor productivity, and cost efficiency.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality system requirements, including FMEA and control plans.
- Facilitate clear and effective communication across all levels of the organization.
- Identify and address training needs to enhance the competencies of manufacturing specialists.
- Manage inventory control to align with departmental budgets, investigating discrepancies and implementing preventive measures.
- Uphold and promote safe work practices throughout the facility.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and internal standards such as RBA, SOX, and internal controls.
- Encourage reporting of any violations related to labor, ethics, and environmental health and safety (EHS).
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals.
- Certificate or Diploma in a relevant field; candidates with equivalent experience of at least 10 years in a manufacturing environment are also encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience or knowledge in Photo and Etch processes is highly advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting, documentation, and communication tasks.
- Comfortable using digital collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, SharePoint) for communication and workflow management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Uses Statistical Process Control (SPC) to audit control charts.
- Performs and maintains equipment qualifications and status in the work area.
- Is responsible for maintaining and monitoring of all clean room protocols.
- Must assure compliance with all safety standards and participate in monitoring them.
- Must be able to utilize computer aided manufacturing such as Workstream and Cold Fusion for communication, data recording and report extraction.
- May perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Participates in basic equipment trouble shooting and preventive maintenance.
- Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly.
- May performs changes or refills of chemicals in the work area.
- May be required to aid in the training of new employees or lesser skilled employees.
- May be required to cross-train in multiple work areas of production.

**For This Role, You Will Need:**
+ Minimum of 2 years working in a comparable manufacturing setting, capable of assessing and implementing manufacturing documentation and procedure improvements.
+ Knowledge and experience with Isolation Valves assembling and testing.
+ Experience in a mechanical assembly manufacturing environment.
**Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:**
+ Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or Diploma holder with extensive manufacturing experience.
+ Excellent communication skills, both oral and written (English Language).
+ Ability to interpret manufacturing and engineering source documents.
+ Knowledge of AUTOCAD, SOLIDWORKS, CREO and ORACLE
+ Knowledge of statistical tools and computer software (Microsoft offices)
