Job Description
Manage and coordinate FA projects together with the Program Manager. Ensure projects meet the expected lead time. Design tooling for FA production to transition towards serial manufacturing process. Ensure that all tooling is available on time. Generate, maintain and update technical drawings, process plans and SAP routers through internal/external change processes. Verify and review old processes, tooling designs and product quality after the FA manufacturing run. Responsible for the Post Mortem Process (PMP). Maintain and stabilize past manufacturing processes and assists the production team for any engineering related issues to improving product flow and balancing production lines. Assist in quotation of FA by providing estimates on yield, tooling cost & process time. Analyze, document, resolve, recommend and implement process and product design changes. Contribute to continuous process improvements projects (yield/defect, cycle time, cost). Assist in the transfer of established processes & technology from/to other manufacturing plants. Being open to travel regularly between Singapore and Malaysia plants is preferred. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Industrial, Mechanical or Materials Science Engineering and/or related engineering disciplines. Must have about at least 3-year engineering experience in a manufacturing environment. Skills and Abilities Required
Proficient in the use of statistical tools for analysis of process capability. Proficient in the use of AutoCAD/Solidworks as well as basic Microsoft Excel & Powerpoint. Excellent verbal and written communications. Strong experience in project management. Must be able to interpret blueprints in accordance with industry standards such as ISO, AS, ASME/ANSI. Must be familiar with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles and applications which are in accordance with standards such as ASME Y14.5-2009 Highly adaptable to working in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams. This role requires expertise in both optical components and metal assemblies, ensuring that the final product meets the highest standards of quality and reliability. Edmund Optics shall, in its discretion, modify or adjust the position to meet the company’s changing needs. Job Description
Manage and coordinate FA projects together with the Program Manager. Ensure projects meet the expected lead time.
Design tooling for FA production to transition towards serial manufacturing process. Ensure that all tooling is available on time.
Generate, maintain, and update technical drawings, process plans, and SAP routers through internal/external change processes.
Verify and review old processes, tooling designs, and product quality after the FA manufacturing run. Responsible for the Post Mortem Process (PMP).
Maintain and stabilize past manufacturing processes and assist the production team with engineering-related issues to improve product flow and balance production lines.
Assist in quoting FA by providing estimates on yield, tooling costs, and process time.
Analyze, document, resolve, recommend, and implement process and product design changes.
Contribute to continuous process improvement projects (yield/defect, cycle time, cost).
Assist in transferring established processes and technology between manufacturing plants.
Willingness to travel regularly between Singapore and Malaysia plants is preferred.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Industrial, Mechanical, or Materials Science Engineering, or related disciplines.
At least 3 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
Skills and Abilities Required
Proficient in statistical tools for process capability analysis.
Proficient in AutoCAD/SolidWorks and basic Microsoft Office applications.

Job Description:
To plan and execute the production schedule for the operational plants with the approval of Head of Company.
To prepare works schedule for the plant technician.
To perform stock management: Daily check of raw material, semi-process and finished product, solvents and chemicals in Plant.
To assist in ordering raw material/chemicals required for the plant operation.
To assist in establishing, managing and maintaining the company quality and environmental management system and other related to company’s business.
To assist maintenance team in planning and executing the plant maintenance system.
To prepare the stock and production report for main plant.
Assisting the planning and the implementation of safety at main plant, Pre-Treatment Plant & Esterification Plant.
Ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of processing plants, tank farm and control room.
To organize and maintain all the production record and MSDS for all the chemicals used in the plant.
To liaise and coordinate with Quality Assurance, supplier (raw material) and customer on the movement of products (in and out) of the plant.
To assist in establishing, managing and maintaining the company environmental management system and other related to company’s business.
Assist to plan and supervise any toll processing at any Biodiesel production facilities.
Assist to plan and develop new commercial trials on different Biodiesel technologies.
Ensuring the production cost for Biodiesel within the approved budget.
Solutions recommendation: strategies to improve process performance and reduce the plant breakdown.
Process improvement: Evaluate and plan for process/plant modifications or/and expansion to improve the process as one way of optimizing the production cost.
Process Data analysis: Deciding the necessary preparation to be taken to prevent unnecessary plant and process breakdown.
To be involved in Risk Assessment for plant operations.
Involve in Continuous Performance Improvement in plant operation.
To liaise and coordinate with logistics, sales and supply chain department to raw material planning, receiving and product dispatch planning.
Involve in Process Safety Management initiative and apply initiatives during normal operation.
