The “Supply Chain Analyst ” will be based in Flex PTP.
In charge of customer interface on strategic materials for key assigned accounts. Hold up material manager or director to develop, implement GPSC reports, data research trends to facilitate resolutions making.
Responsibilities:
- Drives sourcing/pricing strategies in materials quotations.
- Presents materials value-add to customers or suppliers, and influence customer to use Flex preferred suppliers.
- Interfaces with customer or supplier in new project start-up, for cost of ownership issues.
- Develops and guides implementation of flexibility and supply assurance plans.
- Manages component cost/price on a local, regional and global basis.
- Tracks materials financial performance and initiate corrective actions when required.
- Defines and implements pricing and costing strategies.
- Coordinate sourcing strategies with Supply Management and Customers.
- Develop and implement cost take down strategies.
- Increase Vendor Managed Inventory, Reduced Guide-Time and Electronic Data Interface penetration.
Supply Management:
- Manage regional supplier contract negotiations, which includes Memorandums of Comprehension, Non-disclosure and regional pricing agreements.
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships.
- Measure and report Purchase Price Variance and initiate action plans.
- Monitor and manage supplier times.
- Mitigates shortages, excess on order and excess on hand.
- Participate on and help global and regional commodity teams.
- Contribute information/data on top spend suppliers for quarterly scorecards.
- Manages material cost reviews.
- Drive initiatives to improve gross material margin.
- Identify, implement and drive actions for Retained Purchase Price Variance (RPPV) optimization.
- Drive reconciliation process with customer (PPV, Premium charges, carrying costs, freight charges, excess and obsolete inventory, Non-cancelable, Non-Returnable (NCNR), etc.)
- Identify opportunities to increase turnkey business and develop materials management plan.
- Coordinate quarterly/monthly PPV hard call process.
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, materials sourcing, commodity management or supply chain design/management or other related area.
- Must have an understanding of cost accounting, electronic component markets, price trends and technologies.
- A background in electronics manufacturing and a thorough understanding of Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) product development process.

- Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams, fostering collaboration, communication, and accountability.
- Strong knowledge of logistics principles, practices, and processes, including transportation modes, warehousing operations, and inventory management.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize logistics operations and solve logistics challenges.

- Engage with mechanical part qualification, tool transfer activities, FAI/CPK measurement data,
- Prepare, collect and maintain engineering data related to part production processes
- Periodical review and validate supplier material costing.
- Provide RFQ support for new tool/EC tool/new project/local transfer enquiries.
- Drive suppliers to participates with JIT, SMI programs to meet company delivery requirements.
- Manage and ensure assurance of parts supply issues due to tooling, machine capacity & raw material on monthly basis.
- Engage with suppliers on MOQ, LT & SPQ reduction activities.
- Drive and execute procurement process setup such as VMF, agreed supplier’s T&C, MCO and ECN internal & externally to comply company requirements.
- Engage with customer designed products stability assurance & approval process.
- Review and Validate suppliers tooling maintenance data, asset lists, asset handling & asset storage periodically.
- Conduct process audit with existing suppliers & new supplier qualification audit for qualification support when necessary.
- Review tool/supplier capacities when it involves customised parts during high demand surge/drop
- Engage with CFT teams and if necessary with customers on material sourcing activities during NPI stage
- Work with global teams and provide updates when necessary
- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience and training in Injection Moulding Process.
- Typically requires 3 years of experience in Injection Moulding
- Use of the following tools may be required: Electronic Assembly: color code, component, and schematics.
- May require various PCB operations. Testing: oscilloscope, cable and harness testing, trouble shooting, component testing, logic analyzer. Inspection: bare board, systems, components, cable and harness, microscope, measuring tools. Mechanical & Electrical Tools: taps and dies, alignment tools, measuring tools.

- Communicate Project requirements and budget to cross-functional teams, including senior management.
- Review and maintain Project Plan as needed and report weekly project progress and risks.
- Assess problem areas and provide root cause evaluation, technical support, and direction to project team to resolve issues.
- Conduct presentations and training to Project Team, and management as needed.
- Create and/or update Training Documentation for End Users.
- Coordinate and perform UAT (User Acceptance Testing) related to Enhancements and Bug Fixes with Segments/Sites.
- Recommend changes to policies which may affect other organizations.
- Interact frequently with internal customers and/or functional peer group managers, as well as middle management and senior management.

Our Global Supply Chain graduates are ambitious, resilient and tenacious. Dyson’s Global Supply Chain Graduate Programme is a 2-year scheme comprising three rotations, each lasting eight months. During the programme, you will gain hands-on experience across a variety of business functions, including (but not limited to): Manufacturing Engineering, Global Outsourced Operations, Global Procurement (covering components and Tier 1 Contract Manufacturing/Original Design Manufacturing services), Logistics, and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) & Digital Transformation. You will be contributing to the delivery of the next generation of Dyson technology, so you will need to be: Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Operations, Industrial, or Process) or with a specialisation in Supply Chain. No more than two years of relevant work experience post-graduation (Phd students are not eligible for our graduate programmes). Graduating by August 2025 Demonstrate problem solving skills, either through your university projects or as part of your extra-curricular activities. Demonstrate how you have applied your technical knowledge and skills (financial, analytical and numerical skills) to solve problems, either through your university projects or past internship experience. Demonstrate flexibility and resilience agramend respond constructively to new demands and challenges. Experience with SAP, SAP BW, Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft Excel and/or other reporting tools will be an advantage. Strong drive to find creative solutions to new challenges. What a typical day looks like:
Interface with customers in process/systems related discussion and design of solutions addressing their needs (with maximum utilization of Flex standards) Enable new business opportunities through supporting discussion on RFP. Implementation of proposed solutions (Project Management). Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in planning and procurement solutions Support the implementation of global tools and solutions to meet Customer needs and GPSC Goals Training of site planning & procurement resources. Maintain good internal and customer relationships and act as escalation in the event of customer or process issues. Manage and motivate his project team's members. Monitor key supply chain performance indicators at manufacturing locations to identify & assist in executing opportunities for improvement. Assess problem areas and provide root cause evaluation, technical support, and direction to sites to resolve issue. Establish Project Plans, managing project from initiation, delivery, and compliancy. Communicate Project requirements and budget to cross-functional teams, including senior management. Review and maintain Project Plan as needed and report weekly project progress and risks. Assess problem areas and provide root cause evaluation, technical support, and direction to project team to resolve issues. Conduct presentations and training to Project Team, and management as needed. Create and/or update Training Documentation for End Users. Coordinate and perform UAT (User Acceptance Testing) related to Enhancements and Bug Fixes with Segments/Sites. Recommend changes to policies which may affect other organizations. Interact frequently with internal customers and/or functional peer group managers, as well as middle management and senior management.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
Requires aBachelor’s Degree in business/technical discipline. Requires minimum of 7+ years of supply chain management experience.
