The Accounts Executive, Financial Reporting is responsible for producing and monitoring company financial statements and reports and to find ways to limit or reduce costs. The key role is to help management to make important financial decisions that will affect the company's budget and finances.
Key Activities / Accountabilities
- Oversee month-end closing and financial reports preparation
- Coordinate monthly reviews of financial reporting activities
- Lead P&L analysis and provide interpretation of financial results and information for management review and decision making
- Provide support for the budgeting process
- Set up mechanisms and monitor cost and expenditures against budget
- Provide appropriate cost and related financial information and analysis for the purpose of RFQ/RFP
- Coordinate the activities of internal audit staff and external auditors and issues progress reports to management
Preferred Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- Minimum Bachelors degree in Accounting.
- Must know Double Entry

Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Group Operations & Finance, you are responsible for leading the finance team, overseeing financial planning, risk management, record-keeping, financial reporting and financial control. Your expertise will be essential in supporting strategic decisions, optimizing financial performance, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and undertake the bookkeeping and periodic accounting activities of the Companies, ensuring timely reporting and proactive in addressing the financial matters.
- Assist in compilation, tracking and analysis of projects for management reporting. Plan and monitor entity billing forecast.
- Support the Senior Finance Manager in preparing management reports.
- Support the taxation matters, coordinate and liaise with tax agents on tax related matters, as well as participation as key members in the tax preparation process of the Companies.
- Assist and liaise with external auditors on the yearly audit preparation.
- Manage the periodic financial reporting matters of companies within the Group, its subsidiaries and related companies, providing accurate and timely reporting of financial results performances for onwards consolidation and support group financial reporting requirements.
- Coordinate with government agencies in matters of licensing matters.
- Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field.
- Professional certification (e.g. ACCA, CPA) is a plus.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years working in accounting and finance background.
- Preferably with some audit experience.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and has a strong sense of urgency.
- Experience in a supervisory or management role is advantageous.
- Proficient in utilizing office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
