This is an exciting, newly crafted position for a senior salesperson to join a growing cross-regional APAC team! The role specializes in leading and structuring sales of data solutions – across the financial sector and other industries. We target a wide range of personas who require data, analytics, and infrastructure for their operations.
As a "hunter" in pre-sales and pursuit activities, you will join a team to act alongside Account Managers focusing on all sales (new, cross-sells, up-sells) for Data & Feeds Solutions in the given territory, to both existing and new customers.
This role is exclusively about gross sales, with future potential territory expansion depending on performance, and regular travel around the region. Extensive training and support is provided, and involves working in close partnership with account managers, solution consultants and customer success managers to proactively drive revenue growth.

Role Responsibilities
- Cover the given market and segment market for our data solutions
- Creatively structure, seek and close deals
- Develop the sales strategy within assigned territory / account base
- Build long term relationships with professionals across various targeted industries
- Deliver customer demonstrations on our data science related product offerings
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Deep understanding of financial markets and their market data requirements
- While product knowledge is a plus, passion and proven selling skills are a far more meaningful
- Strong sales closer
- Strong presentation skills (verbal & written)
- Experience driving sales strategies
- 5+ years of industry, sales or market experience
- Proven track record in a quota bearing sales environment

Proactively identify problem areas and opportunities within the Bank portfolio with data and processes. Maintain & support regulatory data and repositories. Champion enhancements of regulatory data requirements related to reporting and systems. Maintain ad-hoc regulatory / risk MIS requests. Responsibilities

Preferably in Risk Management, Portfolio Management, MIS/ Analytics. Degree in Mathematics, Finance, Accountancy, Banking, Statistics, or related areas. Experience in MIS or credit/risk analytics. Experience in SAS or any other statistic/data mining software. Strong analytical and technical skills including experience in programming languages i.e. SAS and knowledge in data mining, analysis and simulation. Committed in completing assignments within deadlines, strong interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills. Having knowledge of banking products—Retail/Non Retail portfolio; especially related to the Credits and Statistical knowledge will be an added advantage. Seniority level
