Data Security Analyst

Data Lost Prevention Analyst is an operational role within UOB’s Group Security Operations Center. The incumbent will be responsible for the continuous monitoring, analyzing, and investigating of insider threats and data leakage incidents. He/She must have good analytical and investigative skills to recognize and detect anomalous behavior.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the DLP monitoring function to ensure protection of sensitive financial and customer data.
  • Design and enforce DLP policies aligned with banking regulations (e.g., PCI DSS, PDPA, GDPR).
  • Oversee incident response for data leakage involving customer PII, financial records, or insider threats.

Support the business in maintaining data loss prevention controls to monitor, detect and prevent unauthorized access and/or distribution of data. Protect the Bank's digital information from unauthorized access or theft. This role required technical skills in managing solutions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  14. Manages SLA and contract renewals with solution vendors.

JOB REQUIREMENT

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
  • At least 7 years' experience in Technology.
  • 5 years working experience with data security or related domain.
  • Expertise in at least 2 of these solutions; PAM, DLP, DAM, SWG, Cryptography.
  • Experience in working in a regulated environment such as Financial Services.
  • Good understanding of general IT and network security.
  • Certifications desired; CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer.
  • Ability to anticipate problems, identify solutions and address issues creatively.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize work in an organized manner and to work with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong relationships with peers.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • Shaping the way we securely extract, store, and process data from critical energy infrastructure.
  • Crafting a secure and compliant cloud data platform spanning Azure and AWS that meets organizational and regulatory standards and policies.
  • Translating regulatory and centrally defined security requirements into a form that is understandable and actionable for our teams.
  • Evangelizing security best practices, guidelines, and blueprints to the teams developing and using the Ørsted Data Ecosystem platform.
  • Improving the regulatory compliance (e.g. NIS2) of the data platform.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • Extensive experience in cloud architecture and data architecture (e.g., data lake, cloud data warehouse, Kubernetes, Kafka, cloud networks)
  • Strong grasp of fundamental architectural principles, security control standards, and how to apply these in documented designs and security measures
  • Solid experience in applying processes, risk assessment, governance, according to security information frameworks such like NIST 800-53 and government regulations (e.g. NIS2)
  • Experience in securing deployments in the cloud (ideally both on Azure and AWS)
  • Good inter-personal and communication skills that allow you to work with teams to improve their security posture while they work towards their goals.
  • An eye for the right level of security (factoring in cost, value, and risk), so you never let perfect be the enemy of good.
