- Oversee incident response for data leakage involving customer PII, financial records, or insider threats.
- Coordinate with Compliance, Risk, Legal, and IT Security teams on investigations and audits.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and recommend enhancements to DLP strategy and tooling and automation integration.
- Report DLP metrics and incidents to senior management and regulatory bodies as required.
- Mentor and guide the DLP monitoring team, ensuring continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- 5+ years in cybersecurity, with 2+ years in DLP or data protection in financial institutions.
- Deep understanding of banking regulations and data classification standards.

- Experience in working in a regulated environment such as Financial Services.
- Good understanding of general IT and network security.

You’ll play an important role in:
- Shaping the way we securely extract, store, and process data from critical energy infrastructure.
- Crafting a secure and compliant cloud data platform spanning Azure and AWS that meets organizational and regulatory standards and policies.
- Translating regulatory and centrally defined security requirements into a form that is understandable and actionable for our teams.
- Evangelizing security best practices, guidelines, and blueprints to the teams developing and using the Ørsted Data Ecosystem platform.
- Improving the regulatory compliance (e.g. NIS2) of the data platform.
- Extensive experience in cloud architecture and data architecture (e.g., data lake, cloud data warehouse, Kubernetes, Kafka, cloud networks)
- Strong grasp of fundamental architectural principles, security control standards, and how to apply these in documented designs and security measures
- Solid experience in applying processes, risk assessment, governance, according to security information frameworks such like NIST 800-53 and government regulations (e.g. NIS2)
- Experience in securing deployments in the cloud (ideally both on Azure and AWS)
- Good inter-personal and communication skills that allow you to work with teams to improve their security posture while they work towards their goals.
- An eye for the right level of security (factoring in cost, value, and risk), so you never let perfect be the enemy of good.
