About The Department: Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations. Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing. About The Job: The Security Engineer will support the day to day operations and development of the bank security suite of products with key objective in designing, developing, deploying, maintaining and enhancing the Bank’s Data Security capabilities which includes but is not limited to Data Loss Prevention (DLP), E-Mail Encryption and Operations Job Responsibilities: Support a wide array of security solutions and infrastructure deployed within the bank for Data Security Transform business data security requirements to effective rules with consideration of operational impact Product research and define requirements for new projects, perform product evaluation and technical Proof of Concept. Propose, develop, test and manage Data Security solutions, system and infrastructure changes, upgrades, troubleshooting, patch and improvements. Drive upgrades and migration to ensure Data Security solutions and or related platforms are maintained in tip-top working conditions with proper documentation and RCA. Conduct regression testing on new data security rules, use cases and enhancements. Manage and coordinate change process engagement with regards to current Data Security solutions. Automation development on existing processes and develop contextual data sets, reports and dashboards to provide management and service insights Provide support for all Audit and Regulatory requests. Others: Communicate effectively with a variety of internal teams and third party service providers/vendors for the delivery of Data Security services/solutions Capable of managing a variety of priorities and deliverables in an operational, interrupt driven environment with minimal guidance or supervision. Work within established practices and handling guidelines to triage device outages. Work with internal technical teams and engineers in technical troubleshooting and forums. Available to respond to any requests and assist with troubleshooting activities along with proper documentation. Resolve standard/routine issues with no guidance and complex/unusual issues with minimal guidance. Education Diploma/Degree in engineering/Computer Science / IT/Cyber Security from a recognized education institution Data Security product certifications will be favorable although not mandatory Technical Skills 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in managing and deploying Data Security technologies Knowledgeable with the variety of Data Security technologies and familiar with the industry trends and best practices Knowledgeable with open systems (eg. Windows, Unix,Linux), networking technologies (routers/firewalls), end user technologies (Windows, iOS, Android) and endpoint management platforms (MDM) in relation to Data Security Knowledgeable with cloud technologies (eg. AWS, Azure, M365, GCP) in relation to Data Security Knowledgeable with cryptographic standards and secure data transmission methodologies Analytical problem solver and good at troubleshooting technical issues Soft Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills Process aware mindset Strong analytical and problem solving skills Effective time management and organizational skills. Team player, including ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within and across the organisation Other Requirements Willingness to perform on-call duties as and when required. Cloud Data Security Architect

Ørsted Join us in this role where you’ll play a key role in improving the security posture of Ørsted’s modern cloud data platform on Azure and AWS by supporting development teams, application architects, and leadership in making the right choices and prioritizations regarding security.

You’ll be part of cloud data platform security where you, together with your colleagues, will enables all of Ørsted to easily, securely, and reliably generate value from data. Our Ørsted Data Ecosystem is a cloud-based data platform facilitating the collection, processing, and consumption of data from all Ørsted’s business units and making it available to analysts, data scientists, and machine learning models.

As a team, we collaborate closely with leadership, application architects, and developers to continuously improve the security and compliance of the data platform.

You’ll play an important role in:

Shaping the way we securely extract, store, and process data from critical energy infrastructure. Crafting a secure and compliant cloud data platform spanning Azure and AWS that meets organizational and regulatory standards and policies. Translating regulatory and centrally defined security requirements into a form that is understandable and actionable for our teams. Evangelizing security best practices, guidelines, and blueprints to the teams developing and using the Ørsted Data Ecosystem platform. Improving the regulatory compliance (e.g. NIS2) of the data platform.

To succeed in the role, you:

Extensive experience in cloud architecture and data architecture (e.g., data lake, cloud data warehouse, Kubernetes, Kafka, cloud networks) Strong grasp of fundamental architectural principles, security control standards, and how to apply these in documented designs and security measures Solid experience in applying processes, risk assessment, governance, according to security information frameworks such like NIST 800-53 and government regulations (e.g. NIS2) Experience in securing deployments in the cloud (ideally both on Azure and AWS) Good inter-personal and communication skills that allow you to work with teams to improve their security posture while they work towards their goals. An eye for the right level of security (factoring in cost, value, and risk), so you never let perfect be the enemy of good.

About The Department

Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.

We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.

Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

Job Responsibilities:

• Practical experience in data encryption, key management, and cryptographic technologies.
• Understanding of encryption techniques, tools, and best practices.
• Preferred experience with Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), key management systems, and data protection solutions.
• Familiarity with security protocols such as TLS and SSH.
• Proficiency in cryptographic principles, digital certificates, and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) standards.
• Knowledge of various operating systems and file systems.
• Supports SSL activities such as CSR generation, Certificate Issuance and Cert Injection
• Support Issuance/Revoke of certificates for Mac OS and other systems

Education

• Diploma/Degree in engineering/Computer Science / IT/Cyber Security from a recognized education institution

Technical Skills

• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience
• Cryptography
• Java

Other Requirements

• Willing to work during weekend or wee hours to support security administration activities.
• Must demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Must be process oriented and organized.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Must be able to communicate ideas, both in written and verbal, in a clear, concise and professional manner; including technical writing skills.
• Team skills, including ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels within an organization, fostering collaboration internally/externally with vendors and staff.
