You will need to lead the coordination with consultants and subcontractors, manage design reviews and ensure all structural works are delivered safely, timely and according to standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Review and validate civil & structural drawings, calculations and technical documents Coordinate closely with consultants, local authorities and subcontractors for design approvals, inspections and construction execution Supervise site activities and ensure structural works are built as per design safety rules and quality standards Proactively identify and resolve technical issue at site Monitor construction progress and report and delay or risk to project team Assist in cost control, materials planning and method statement preparations Ensure all compliance with local codes and regulations
Requirements:
Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering At least 5 years working experience in building construction or infrastructure projects Familiar with both site supervision and design coordination roles Experienced in liaising with consultants, authorities and managing subcontractor Knowledge of software such as AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, ETABS or BIM tools is an advantage Good communication and leadership skills Able to speak and write in English, Mandarin and Malay

Job Description
Perform preliminary and detailed structural analyses using both empirical methods and engineering software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, ANSYS). Assist in the preparation of technical deliverables including structural calculation reports, design drawings, specifications, and construction method statements. Conduct basic civil and geotechnical assessments, including soil-structure interaction and foundation design reviews. Participate in the design of marine civil structures such as quay walls, dolphins, jetty trestles, and access bridges. Support the development of bill of quantities (BOQ), material take-offs (MTO), and cost estimates. Prepare technical presentations and summaries for internal and client reviews. Coordinate with drafting teams for preparation and review of design drawings. Ensure designs comply with relevant codes and standards. Perform QA/QC checks on structural calculations and design documentation. Attend internal and external design review meetings as required. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Position
- Senior Civil Engineers
- Familiar with Main Infrastructure design
- Familiar with Water / Pipe Improvement Work design
Responsibilities
- Prepare civil engineering design plans and specifications associated with housing development, master planning, feasibility study, etc.
- Carry out detailed infrastructure design and analysis
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to prepare civil design documents including earthwork design, road and drainage design, water supply system design, and sewerage system design.
- Attend planning and progress meetings as necessary and provide periodic construction supervision
- Carry out site investigation and inspection and solve site problems
- Lead, supervise, and mentor engineering team(s) to complete work within scope, schedule, and budget
- Liaise with clients, authorities, other consultants, suppliers, manufacturers, and contractors on issues related to the design and submission.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and project specifications.
- Strong understanding of local authority standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 8 years’ experience in Civil Engineering design and analysis.
- Demonstrate experience and understanding of local codes, standards, and submission requirements
- Must possess a minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering or equivalent
- Able to work with minimum supervision and independently
- Registered with BEM/IEM
- Well-versed with engineering software: AutoCAD, MITS, etc.
- Understand the dynamics of working with a team and possess knowledge of client coordination and building relationships
- Responsible person with good communication skills
- Possess a valid driving license and be willing to travel
