ResponsibilitiesDaily Responsibilities:
Process and check daily deposits and withdrawals (includes Suspicious Transaction Monitoring) for Singapore and Malaysia entities
Once a suspicious transaction is approved on the Admin system, it takes immediate effect. If unsure of the approval decision, the Banking Operations Executive clarifies with the Function Manager. Conversely, the Function Manager retrospectively checks the approved transactions on a weekly basis.
Execute daily fund transfers for the business (e.g. transfer to the Broker) across all of the Group’s entities
The Banking Operations Manager provides oversight for this process and the transactions can only be approved by Senior Management members.
Review flagged customers as part of the customer onboarding screening process
The Banking Operations Manager will periodically review the Banking Operations Executives’ approvals and provide feedback.
Work with the Client Experience team to contact customers for the purposes of transaction verifications (e.g. obtaining proof of fund transfer when necessary)
Assist the Operations team in resolving transactional issues (e.g. stalled withdrawals, reconciliation discrepancies) together with the Tech team
Prepare monthly reports (e.g. Reconciliation Report, Operations KPI Report)
Take ownership of operational tasks and continuously find ways to improve the efficiency of such tasks
Undertake ad hoc operations projects as required

Role Overview
- Proven Track record as an outstanding test analyst with end-to-end testing experience. Capable to define the Test Strategy & Test Plan document, to design the test cases and prepare the testers for UAT.
- Understand application business area and application requirements, specifically in the banking environment.
- Experience in managing user acceptance testing (UAT) in both in an Agile and Waterfall delivery environment.
- Hands on experience in test planning, test execution, test management, defect tracking skill and test progress reporting including using a variety if test management tools
- Skilled Business Analyst with relevant experience in the coordination of SIT and UAT for multi phased project preferably using Agile practice.
- UAT management skills is more important than the Insurance domain knowledge.
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience
- Understand application business area and application requirements, specifically in wealth/cards environment. Experience in managing user acceptance testing (UAT) in both in an Agile and Waterfall delivery environment.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Unix, UAT Testing, SQL queries, Mantis, Data Migration

About the roleWe are looking for an exceptional Senior Banking Consultant with a strong background from top-tier consulting firms or specialized financial consultancies. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in banking operations, regulatory compliance, risk, and digital transformation to help our clients navigate today’s complex financial landscape with confidence and strategic foresight.
Responsibilities- Lead strategic consulting engagements across banking and financial institutions.
- Evaluate and redesign core banking operations to enhance process efficiency, compliance, and customer experience.
- Develop and deliver detailed strategies aligned with evolving regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives, including fintech integration and platform modernization.
- Conduct stakeholder workshops and training sessions to support change management and knowledge transfer.
- Collaborate with internal teams and client leadership to co-create innovative, sustainable banking solutions.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory updates, and emerging technologies to provide data-driven, forward-thinking recommendations.
- Minimum 10 years of consulting experience in the banking or financial services sector.
- Expert understanding of banking regulations, compliance, operational risk, and regulatory frameworks across regions.
- Proven success managing large-scale consulting projects and cross-functional teams.
- Outstanding problem-solving and analytical capabilities, with a track record of turning insights into actionable results.
- Deep understanding of core banking systems, payment platforms, and regulatory technology (RegTech).
- Proficiency in data analysis tools, BI platforms, CRM systems, and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Project).
- Awareness of blockchain, AI, and ML applications in banking and financial services.
- Executive-level communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong leadership presence, with a collaborative and strategic approach to client engagement and delivery.
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, remote or hybrid consulting environment.
- A passion for transforming the banking sector through innovation, excellence, and long-term client impact.
- Experience in digital banking transformation, including mobile banking, open banking, and API ecosystems.
- Familiarity with fintech partnerships, core system modernization, and customer experience transformation.
- Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) and/or industry certifications such as CFA, FRM, or CIMA.

**Responsibilities:**
+ Transaction Banking ("TB") provides core banking products and services for our corporate customers.
+ This includes the channel and account offerings for the delivery of Trade & Supply Chain Finance and Cash Management, such as liquidity; pooling and sweeping; payments and receivables; trade and supply chain finance, usance LC payable at sight basis, LC discounting on non-recourse basis and Accounts Receivables Payable Scheme ("ARPS").
+ To identify and drive the sales of TB with internal support from stakeholders in achieving targeted growth in revenue and drivers (for assets and liabilities) while representing the bank in client and industry engagements.
+ Proactively manage TB relationships within the portfolio of existing and agreed target clients in order to develop, structure and provide proposals that meet customers' requirements. Spot opportunities to deepen TB income and economic profit, recommending and implementing the appropriate solutions.
+ Develop, implement and execute TB Account Planning, client sales and trade relationship pipelines in a timely manner.
+ Act as a point of contact for all TB transactions for customers, with the ability to discuss technical and operational aspects of transactions.
+ Identify product gaps or new product opportunities to support the enhancement and development of existing and/or new product/services via a cost-effective delivery channel.
+ Take personal responsibility for understanding the risk and compliance requirements of the role. Understand and comply with applicable laws and regulations, the Group's policies, procedures and the Group Code of Conduct. Effectively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk and compliance matters. Contribute to a culture in which all stakeholders feel safe to raise concerns and where risk and compliance are addressed and appropriately dealt with.
+ Support the active management of the TB portfolio as required.
**Requirements:**
+ Applicant must have a recognized Degree in Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or its equivalent from a recognized university/higher learning institution.
+ Proven record of technical understanding of Trade and Supply Chain products. Minimum of 2 years of experiences in a trade sale.
+ Demonstrable success in Trade Sales and Business Development/Marketing
+ Strong knowledge of risk profile and regulatory treatment of Trade & Supply Chain products and associated risk and portfolio management practice
+ Good understanding of local and/or international products and other banking products related.
+ In-depth understanding of Trade and Supply Chain Finance products and sound understanding of the broad range of Transaction Banking products. Minimum 2-year experiences in a trade sales or product management capacity
+ Demonstrable success in Trade Sales and Business Development area
+ Proven record of technical understanding of Trade and Supply Chain products
+ Broad knowledge of the Trade Finance risks and related.
+ Knowledge of risk profile and regulatory treatment of Trade and Supply Chain and associated risk and portfolio management practices.
+ Knowledge on working capital requirement, credit background and Trade Operations would be an added advantage.
+ Ability to read and write Japanese language would also be an added advantage
