JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal product availability, minimize excess stock, and control carrying costs.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, favourable terms, and reliable delivery schedules.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of driving revenue, optimising financial performance, and managing large, diverse teams.

Your Mission

Event and Room Booking:

  • Receive and manage corporate and private bookings for the Campus via the Online Booking System (OBS) and other manual arrangements
  • Handle booking enquiries received
  • Ensure booking confirmations/ payments for the bookings/ events are made and received promptly.
  • Communicate the details of the bookings and coordinate with all parties involved
  • Prepare financial statements/ reports on the events conducted at the Campus.

  • Active coordination with Vendors to ensure timely execution and within approved/ allocated budget.
  • Liaising with Group Procurement and Finance in creating/ extending new vendors.

Administrative and Maintenance Support:

  • Prepare internal reports, approval papers/ requests as and when required for further consideration by the appropriate parties/ approving authorities.

  • Monitor the expiry/renewal and sourcing timeline of all purchase contracts entered into by the Campus

  • Ensure active engagement of team members and adherence to recommended best practices such as the critical path method and quality standards
  • Coordinate and oversee contractor selection, contractor evaluation, project performance and project close-out
  • Prepare and present key milestone completions and progress status reports to management
  • Coordinate and execute the projects consistent with high operating standards regarding security, safety, health and environment protection requirements
  • Ensure each project is executed timely, completely and safely by the Refinery team, third party contractors and service providers
  • Provide project support and advice to other teams as required
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering with outstanding academic achievement
  • Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in petroleum refinery or chemical plant
  • Solid experience in project management and risk-based integrity management
  • Strong communication and critical analysis skills
  • Result oriented with broad-based technical expertise
  • Willing to be based at Port Dickson Refinery
