Group Finance Manager
to lead and streamline our group-level finance functions and strategic growth. Role Summary:
The
Group Finance Manager
will be responsible for overseeing all group-level finance activities, including consolidation, statutory compliance, M&A integration, and IPO-readiness efforts. This role will be pivotal in establishing financial systems and controls across multiple legal entities and driving finance standardization as the company grows globally. Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full spectrum of group finance including accounting, group consolidation, budgeting, tax, and statutory reporting. Oversee month-end and year-end closing for all entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and international standards. Oversee the financial integration of newly acquired companies into the group structure. Conduct financial due diligence for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and other investment opportunities. Support IPO-related activities. Liaise with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, and financial institutions to ensure compliance and efficiency. Coordinate and implement group-wide financial policies, controls, and reporting structures. Monitor group cash flow, financial risks, and working capital management. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making by the leadership team. Lead financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting processes across business units and regions. Oversee corporate, indirect, and international tax matters across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with local regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ad hoc finance projects, strategic initiatives, and business transformations. Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics to drive efficiency and profitability. Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent. Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, ICAEW, or similar) is highly preferred. Minimum
10 years
of experience in finance, Experience in
group consolidation
across multiple countries/entities is essential. Exposure to
IPO processes , financial due diligence, and acquisition integration. Familiarity with Bursa Malaysia listing requirements is a strong advantage. Solid knowledge of MFRS/IFRS, transfer pricing, and corporate tax across regions. Proficiency in
Xero
accounting software is an added advantage. High attention to detail, strong leadership qualities, and excellent communication skills.
