Role Overview

• Assist in company-wide business-partnering efforts and execute strategic sourcing for medium-to-high complexity third-party needs, including supply & demand analysis, RFx development, bidding facilitation, supplier selection and onboarding, contract review and negotiation, and performance/risk management.
• Support the development of a preferred supplier network to benefit the company through cost savings, process improvements, sustainable agreements, and risk mitigation. Help define targets, metrics, and evaluation tools for supplier performance and due diligence.
• Understand company processes, tools, and channels for procurement; guide internal stakeholders towards optimal buying practices; contribute to continuous improvement of supplier management policies and systems.
• Analyze spend data, establish baselines, and perform benchmarking on sourcing categories. Provide insights into cost benefits, market trends, and innovation opportunities to support fact-based decision-making.
• Support audit, compliance, and risk management activities.
• Assist with SEA supplier management activities as needed.

• Provide prompt, courteous, and ethical service in compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies. Demonstrate integrity and cooperate across all levels of the organization.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing.
• Experience in the Financial Services industry is advantageous.
• Experience with spend analysis, cost management, and supplier performance tracking is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Data-driven with strong analytical, business, and financial skills; proactive problem-solver.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, work independently, and manage ambiguity.

About the Job

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sourcing Engineer to manage and support all activities related to sourcing and qualifying commodity parts, such as passive components, connectors, ICs, sheet metal parts, and others. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring a reliable supply chain, cost optimization, and strong supplier performance for key engineering components across projects.
He or she will contribute to the smooth and cost-effective flow of goods and services by managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and overseeing the efficient delivery of materials and products. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure cost competitiveness, fast turnaround time (TAT), and high-quality delivery, while continuously optimizing sourcing strategies.

What you will be responsible for:

Sourcing & Supplier Management

• Lead sourcing and resourcing activities for assigned commodities (passive components, connectors, ICs, sheet metal, etc.)
• Identify and qualify new suppliers to ensure capability, quality, cost competitiveness, and delivery reliability
• Work closely with design, engineering, and procurement teams to support new product development (NPI) and ensure timely availability of parts
• Evaluate and drive supplier performance improvement on quality, cost, and delivery metrics
• Conduct cost analysis and negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal pricing and terms
• Manage technical discussions with suppliers, ensuring compliance with specifications and industry standards
• Support risk assessment, mitigation, and supply continuity planning
• Maintain accurate documentation for supplier qualification, audits, and component lifecycle management
• Responsible to understand and assess Part Change Notices (PCNs) from suppliers and evaluate whether product requalification or additional validation is required. Perform supplier audits and performance evaluations, resolving quality, delivery, or compliance issues proactively.
  

How you will stand out:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, and/or supply chain management, preferably in technology or electronics manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of consumer electronics, mechanical and electrical component procurement.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills, with the ability to build long-term, positive supplier relationships.
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics, and delivery management and supply chain risk mitigation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with sustainability or ethical sourcing initiatives in the supply chain.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, part drawings, and quality systems
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and project management skills
• Able to travel when necessary to support supplier visits or audits

The Manager,Supplier Risk Management plays a pivotal role within Group Procurement’s Corporate Procurement team, responsible for ensuring that third-party vendors meet all compliance and risk requirements during the onboarding process, continue to adhere to internal SME governance standards through regular checks and periodic assessments, and are escalated promptly when risk alerts are triggered to enable timely mitigation. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional with strong governance expertise to uphold the integrity and risk resilience of the organization’s supplier network.

Make an Impact by:

• Perform review of vendor submission, which entails liaising with internal users and external vendors with regards to vendor onboarding (includes vendor screening, gathering, and checking of vendor’s information using various system modes).
• Provides first line support to suppliers on the online submissions for vendor onboarding process, through to invoice submission.
• Identify and periodically assess risk associated with vendor risk controls of the active suppliers/contracts.
• Contribute towards the establishment and ongoing refinement of the overall Supplier Risk Management framework, along with Governance SMEs.
• Coordinate and perform vendor reviews with contract owners, Procurement Sourcing teams and other SME functions’ Supplier Performance management teams
• Document and keep track of risks and recommendations of completed supplier assessments
• Perform Supplier risk management program deliverables including reporting, internal and external awareness/training activities.
• Liaise with internal users and external vendors with regards to amendment of vendor information.
• Perform analysis to provide assessments and activate plan to address detected red flags/irregularities
• Provide support to internal users if they have queries regarding the maintenance of vendors’ information in our systems
• Support ad hoc vendor information-related request

Skills for Success:

• Degree in Supply Chain/ Commerce / Business or simila
• Minimum 4 years related experience working within a supply chain/ procurement/ finance/ audit/ internal audit /compliance function is preferred
• Strong understanding of risk concepts and procurement processes
• Working knowledge on supplier risk management methodologies and risk mitigation principles
• Proficient in data analysis and keen eye for details.
• Good business communication skills, including presentation

4. Advantage to candidate who able to communicate in Mandarin as need to liaise with stakeholder/customer from Taiwan .

About You

You will be supporting the vendor management functions to ensure day-to-day coordination, operational efficiency, and service quality across all external vendor engagements—especially those related to vehicle inspection and compliance.

You may need to be on standby and available for shift-based work as needed to accommodate vendor schedules and operational demands.

Your Day-to-Day

• To manage and coordinate vendor activities, ensuring compliance with company standards and timelines.
• To act as the main liaison between vendors and internal departments, resolving issues and ensuring smooth workflows.
• To monitor vendor performance, conduct evaluations, and recommend improvements.
• To support logistics and scheduling, including standby or shift work when required to ensure operational continuity.
• To assist in documentation, reporting, and data entry for all vendor-related transactions and interactions.
• Experience in coordinating with Puspakom or similar inspection-related vendors is a strong advantage.
• Perform other vendor management-related duties or tasks as assigned to support overall efficiency and compliance.

Your Know-How

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
• Previous experience in vendor or operations management; familiarity with automotive or inspection vendors like Puspakom is an added advantage.
• Able to work flexible hours, including standby or shifts as needed.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work under pressure.
