This role is responsible to co-create & lead the delivery of above market demand forecasting capabilities, working closely in collaboration with cross-functional teams in the end markets & DRBUs. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead Demand Forecasting Community of Practice, supporting the deployment of Management Information and tools supporting Demand Forecasting.
- Co-Create the ideal interaction model for demand forecasting between Global & DRBU/EM Functions in Supply Chain and Commercial functions. To deliver optimum business results with minimum losses as well as maximizing profits through opportunity capturing.
- Lead the analysis, deployment, and maintenance of statistical models for forecasting, develop subject matter expertise in statistical forecasting.
- Deliver strong insights based on statistics & market information to the Commercial teams to improve DF to capture market opportunities without compromise on the accuracy of forecasting.
- Drive knowledge sharing and collaboration between Demand Forecasting, Marketing teams and the wider Supply Chain Community to support the business plans for growth scenarios with robust trigger mechanisms while maintaining a strong baseline.
- Manage central co-ordination of Demand Forecasting Loss Analysis reporting, tracking and Continuous Improvement plans.
- Work alongside markets to turn judgemental insights into quantitative models through the identification of causal factors, data sets and models wherever possible.
- Maintain, develop, and deliver capability training to support statistical and causal forecasting as part of the Education and Training curriculum.
- Develop through benchmarking and business need the Causal Model process, leveraging learning from Proof of Concepts and technology partners.
- Support the cascade, coordination, and delivery of Global and local improvement initiatives.
- Drive and support benchmarking across DF from a process, organisation, capabilities, technology and data perspective.
What are we looking for?
- Demand Forecasting Professional with min. 5-6 years’ experience in planning managerial role.
- Results focused, structured approach, strong analytical & project management skills.
- Experience with Demand Forecasting system, ideally Kinaxis and training in demand forecasting methodologies and process.
- Assertive & collaborative style; able to work across multiple EM’s, cultures & time zones.
- Strong influencing skills with the desire to challenge the status quo & drive change.
- Knowledge of SAP & supporting the delivery of Supply Chain & Demand Planning technology an advantage.
- Experience working on Machine Learning/AI projects
- University (Master’s) degree, preferably in statistics of demand planning

Data Accuracy & Governance
- Ensure all inventory movement transactions are captured and processed in WMS timely and accurately;
- Ensure WMS records are accurate and aligned with physical warehouse stock;
- Ensure Master Data is captured accurately in WMS;
- Ensure records in WMS are consistently and accurately maintained; prevent misuse of fields or improper data updates by the system team;
- Coordinate with the CS team to ensure product codes and product costs are maintained in WMS, updated promptly, and that all changes are properly recorded with dates.

- Generate and distribute stock balance reports for storage billing and other inventory- related reports from WMS on schedule;
- Verify movement In and Out reports updated by the CS team for Penyata Bulanan before submission to Customs;
- Support Warehouse HOD in KPI reporting using WMS data.
Team Management & Improvement
- Manage and assign tasks to the system/ inventory team, monitor performance, and provide guidance;
- Analyze WMS data to evaluate the efficiency of data processing by the System/ Inventory team, compare results against KPIs, and identify areas of failure or improvement.
Additional Duties
- Support superiors in any ad-hoc assignments to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (preferred);
- Proven experience in inventory control, reconciliation, or system/data management;
- Familiarity with CW (CargoWise) or equivalent warehouse management systems (WMS);
- Strong reporting and data analysis capability;
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and support operations;
- Good leadership and people management skills to supervise a support team;
- Detail-oriented, process-driven, and committed to data accuracy.
