Job DescriptionTheCoffeeBreak.co is a daily email newsletter (weekdays) covering local, global, and business news. We make news reading easy and fun.
We are looking for part-time writers to join our editorial team. The primary task includes summarizing and writing news into bite-sized formats for sections within the newsletter.
Engagement Frequency:
At least 1 issue per week (we publish 5 daily issues a week). Writing is usually done the evening/night before the following day’s issue. There is potential for longer-term engagement should candidates exceed expectations.
Rate:
RM25 per issue (A single issue takes about 1-2 hours)
Requirements:
• Proficient in English
• Follows and reads current affairs, business, and financial news
• Flair in writing
• Integrity and responsibility
Preferably interns or students studying journalism, media, or in a relevant field. That said, we are open to exploring any background.
