Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Tester to manage the end-to-end testing lifecycle for our Workday implementation. This role will focus on driving the test strategy, planning, coordination, and defect triage, working across business, functional, and technical teams. While prior Workday experience is not mandatory, familiarity with enterprise systems—especially in HCM, Finance, or Procurement domains—is highly beneficial.

This role will focus on driving the test strategy, planning, coordination, and defect triage, working across business, functional, and technical teams. Key Responsibilities


  • define and lead the overall testing strategy for Workday implementation and related integrations.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, schedules, and resource allocations across test phases (System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Regression).
  • Coordinate with functional and technical teams to ensure test scenarios and cases are created and reviewed appropriately.
  • Support client teams during test execution by providing clear guidance, tracking progress, and managing expectations.
  • Lead the defect triage process, including issue tracking, prioritization, assignment, and resolution follow-up.
  • Communicate testing status, risks, and metrics to project leadership and stakeholders regularly.
  • Ensure all testing activities align with project goals, timelines, and quality expectations.
  • Contribute to process improvement and documentation around testing standards and practices.


  • Required Qualifications:


  • relevant years of experience in testing or test management roles for ERP, HCM, or enterprise technology programs.
  • Strong understanding of testing processes and test lifecycle management.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional testing involving business, technical, and vendor/client teams.
  • Experience with test tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with HCM, Finance, or Procurement business processes is a strong advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially in high-paced project environments.

    What does the role involve?

    As an IT Business Analyst Time & Absence , you'll be part of a global team of Product Owners, Functional Business Analysts, and HR counterpart. You will partner with Hilti market organizations and plants around the world to translate their time tracking and absence needs into the system setup.     What you need is:

    • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or related fields.
    • At least 1 year Hands-on configuration experience in Time & Absence or HCM or any other HRIS.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills paired with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

    Workday Advanced Compensation Functional Specialist

    We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Advanced Compensation Functional Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Workday’s Advanced Compensation module, with experience in configuration, implementation, and optimization. You will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and support Workday Advanced Compensation functionalities to enhance compensation planning, bonus, merit, and stock plan administration. Additionally, you will collaborate with technical teams including data and integration teams, providing functional inputs and validating testing scenarios.

    Key Responsibilities:
    1. Lead and support Workday Advanced Compensation module implementation, configuration, and optimization.
    2. Provide expert guidance on Workday Advanced Compensation best practices.
    3. Gather business requirements, lead client workshops, develop and maintain functional documentation, and translate requirements into Workday system configurations.
    4. Configure Workday Advanced Compensation business processes, including merit cycles, bonus plans, stock plans, and compensation review statements.
    5. Configure Workday security roles, reporting, and dashboards.
    6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective integration of business processes.
    7. Work closely with data and integration teams, providing functional inputs, validating test scenarios, and troubleshooting issues.
    8. Conduct system testing, including preparing test cases, executing tests, and resolving defects.
    9. Provide end-user training and develop documentation.
    10. Stay updated with Workday features and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency.
    11. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), leading and managing the team to achieve successful outcomes, making key decisions, and providing status updates to the PMO.
    Qualifications:
    • 3+ years of experience working with Workday Advanced Compensation.
    • Strong understanding of Workday Core Compensation configurations, workflows, and reporting.
    • Experience with Workday security, business processes, and integrations.

    • Own and deliver standard and ad-hoc reporting projects, enhancements and business-as-usual requests.
    • Identify and implement improvements to optimise reporting processes and data validation.
    • Resolve complex reporting cases, investigate root causes, and provide effective solutions or workarounds.
    • Evaluate change requests, support user acceptance testing, and coordinate training and deployment.
    • Assess data sources to ensure reporting accuracy and quality.
    • Develop reports that support data quality, operational activities, and continuous improvement.
    • Build and maintain repeatable, accurate and credible metrics and dashboards.
    • Support end-user training and education to promote self-sufficiency.
    • Communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders across the analytics lifecycle.
    • Ensure reporting processes comply with audit and regulatory standards.
    • Act as testing lead for bi-annual Workday releases related to reporting and analytics.
    • Stay up to date with Workday functionality and contribute to online communities and brainstorms.
    • Provide Tier 2/3 operational support for reporting and analytics issues.
    • Champion customer focus and continuous improvement through feedback and collaboration.


    What Will You Need to Be Successful?

    We're looking for someone with a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, IT, or a related field, and 5+ years of experience in Workday reporting and analytics.

    You should have expert knowledge of Workday reporting tools, including Calculated Fields, Advanced Reports, Dashboards, Discovery Boards, Worksheets, and Prism. Experience with Composite Reports, People Analytics, and Workday Hub configuration is a big plus.

    Confidence in working with HR data and people analytics is essential. Familiarity with visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView will help you thrive in this role.

    We value experience with Workday Release Testing, Business Processes, and security configuration. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are a must.
