We’re looking for a Junior Web Designer to join our team and play a key role in maintaining and enhancing live client websites. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys refining visual details, solving layout challenges, and ensuring websites stay current, clear, and engaging.

While the majority of your work will involve content updates and layout refinements, you’ll also gain exposure to new website development and assist with UI/UX tasks—helping you build a well-rounded skill set over time.

Your responsibilities include:

• Executing content and module updates accurately and on time
• Making design adjustments that maintain brand consistency and enhance clarity
• Supporting the team in refreshing layouts and improving user experience
• Assisting with new website development tasks when needed
• Ensuring websites remain responsive, cohesive, and polished

• Skills: Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML & CSS. Experience in CMS (WordPress or Drupal) is a plus
• Education: Diploma or higher in Web Design, Multimedia, or related fields
• Language: Strong command of English (spoken and written)

Overview:

YeWebs is looking for aspiring Website Designers to join our freelance team. No prior experience with Wix Studio? No problem — we provide full training and access to design tools. If you’re creative, detail-oriented, and eager to learn, this is a great opportunity to build websites for real businesses while working fully from home.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and build websites using Wix Studio (training provided)

• Follow clear design briefs and brand guidelines

• Create responsive layouts for desktop and mobile

• Work with our content and marketing team to complete client projects

• Make updates or revisions based on client feedback

Who Should Apply:

• Fresh graduates or self-taught creatives looking for experience

The new role

• Participate in the software development life-cycle
• Perform system testing and documentation whenever necessary
• Analyze and design new core modules
• Participate in the creation of new Cloud services and products
• Perform unit testing and system integration testing
• Maintain and support project post-implementation activities

Requirements to succeed

You should have at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or relevant fields with at least 2 years of relevant experience in a related field.

About you:

We are seeking an experienced Web Development Team Lead to manage and mentor our frontend development team. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with exceptional leadership skills, demonstrating critical thinking, systematic problem-solving abilities, and the resilience to navigate complex technical challenges while maintaining team productivity and morale. The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives in ambiguity, can build structure from chaos, and maintains optimism while tackling challenging technical problems. You should be equally comfortable diving into code reviews as you are facilitating team discussions or presenting to executives. Most importantly, you should be passionate about developing others and creating an environment where developers can do their best work.

Day-to-day, you will:

Team Leadership & Development

· Lead, mentor, and develop a team of frontend developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence
· Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and create individual development plans for team members to support growth, training, and career progression.
· Ensure the team's well-being, motivation, and engagement by fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
· Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions and encourage cross-functional collaboration

Technical Oversight & Strategy

· Provide technical guidance and code review for complex frontend implementations
· Establish and maintain coding standards, best practices, and development workflows
· Stay current with frontend technologies and evaluate new tools/frameworks for team adoption
· Ensure technical solutions align with broader product and business objectives

Process Management & Delivery

· Design and implement clear, efficient development processes that scale with team growth
· Drive sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives using agile methodologies
· Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for processes, decisions, and technical architecture
· Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other departments to ensure clear communication and successful project execution
· Identify bottlenecks and systematically remove obstacles blocking team progress

Stakeholder Management

· Translate business requirements into technical specifications and realistic timelines
· Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
· Manage expectations and negotiate scope/timeline adjustments when necessary
· Provide regular status updates and escalate risks proactively
· Build strong relationships with Product, Design, and Backend teams

Your skills and experiences might also include:

• 6+ years of frontend development experience with at least 2 years in a lead/senior role
• Expert-level proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3
• Strong understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance optimization
• Familiarity with backend technologies and API design principles
• Experience with micro-frontend architectures and module federation
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and SEO best practices
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization
• Contributions to open-source projects or technical blog writing
• Experience with design systems and component library development
• Familiarity with mobile development (React Native, Flutter) is a plus
