Job Summary
Supermicro is seeking dedicated warehouse workers to work in our warehouse. The Warehouse Worker receives and ships Supermicro products and coordinates shipment transfers to internal departments and customers. If you have a passion for warehousing and distribution, then Supermicro wants you!
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Packing
- Accurately count & check products based on packing slips.
- Pack items according to product type and shipping method (e.g., fragile, perishable, bulk).
- Ensure proper use of packing materials (bubble wrap, foam, boxes, etc.) to prevent damage.
- Label package clearly with shipping information, product codess and barcodes.
- Palletizing
- Stack packed boxes or goods securely on pallets based on size, weight and stability.
- Wrap palletized goods with shrink wrap or stretch film to prevent shifiting during transport.
- Label each pallet with shipment details, including destination, content list and weight.
- Follow proper pallet configuration to optimize space and safety in transport or storage.
- Use pallet jacks or fokrlifts (if certified) to move pallets to the staging or shipping area.
- Shipping Preparation
- Verify shipment contents against orders or invoices.
- Weigh and measure packages to confirm they meet carrier requirements.
- Generate shipping labels and documents using systems like FedEx, DHL, UPS or internal shipping software.
- Attach bills of lading or customs documentation (for international shipments).
- Loading and Dispatch
- Sort packages by destination or courier.
- Move packed goods to the designated shipping area.
- Load shipments onto trucks or delivery vehicles using pallet jacks or forklifts, if required.
- Coordinate with the logistics or dispatch team to ensure timely pickups.
- Quality Control
- Double check order accuracy before sealing packages.
- Identify and report damaged goods or packing errors.
- Ensure packing & palletize follow the company SOP.
- Inventory and Stock Handling
- Monitor inventory while packing to report low stock or shortages.
- Return over picked or unused items to their proper storage location.
- Record packing activity and material usage.
- Safety & Housekeeping
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station.
- Follow all safety procedure related to lifting, handling materials and equipment use.
- Dispose of packaging aste responsibly (cardboard, plastics, etc.)
- Minimum SPM or equivalent with certificate or diploma in logistics, supply chain, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with valid licenses or certification to operate warehouse equipment (e.g. Forklift) are preferred.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations such as receiving, storing, picking, packing, shipping are preferred.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and tools such as WMS, barcode scanners, etc.
- Comfortable using computer for basic tasks and data entry.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as: Pallet jacks, Forklifts. Stretch wrapping machines
- Understanding of safety procedures and manual handling techniques.
- Physically fit and capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order handling.
- Time management and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic communication skills – ability to communicate in multiple languages to effectively engage with internal and external counterparts is an added advantage.
- Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, or overtime based on operational needs.

Position Overview: The Material Handlers will perform the physical tasks involved in the staging of materials, parts, and supplies for automation manufacturing cells, material transit rooms, staging rooms, etc. The distribution and staging need to occur in a fast-paced environment to facilitate continuous production. This position will be responsible for staging components used in manufacturing in a clean and safe environment, adhering to cGMP within the cleanroom. During plant start-up, this position will work during core business hours, with possible shift adjustments.
Responsibilities:
- Follow written work instructions and procedures for material handling, delivery to cleanroom workstations, material storage, and inventory checks.
- Report and communicate problems to leaders and other functions.
- Work with a team to supply manufacturing cells, operations, and staging locations with materials and components.
- Communicate effectively with production and warehouse leaders to meet operational needs.
- Timely and accurate staging of materials according to production schedules.
- Fill trays with parts from pallets.
- Manage Kanban or WIP via packing and transportation.
- Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum SPM or Diploma, preferably in Business, Supply Chain, or related fields.
- 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing or warehouse support, preferably in the medical device industry.
- Self-motivated and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in start-up production environments is a plus.
- Proficiency in Malay and basic English for documentation and communication.
- Ability to understand and follow SOPs and instructions with minimal supervision.
- Effective communication skills.
- Basic math skills and accuracy in counting.
- Teamwork and reliability in task performance.
- Knowledge of ergonomic lifting techniques; forklift/reach truck experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift loads up to 25kg.

Education:

Experience:
- Have experience in working in a stores/goods inwards environment
