About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk to join our Warehouse team in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the receipt of incoming goods and materials, ensuring accuracy in inventory records, and supporting efficient warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery notes for accuracy in quantity, quality, and condition.
- Accurately document received goods, update inventory systems, and maintain detailed records of all inbound shipments.
- Communicate with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to ensure timely and accurate receipt and allocation of materials.
- Conduct quality checks on incoming materials and report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the appropriate departments.
- Assist in organizing and storing received goods in designated areas, ensuring efficient warehouse layout and material flow.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations, and contribute to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
- Continuously work to improve KPI’s for receipt to stock as well as driving reductions for non-conformances of receipts.

Qualifications & Competencies:
- Possess 5-7 years' experience in a receiving or warehouse role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and basic computer skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as required.

A Material Handler is in charge of storing, moving, and handling direct/indirect materials. The work includes moving and tracking warehouse stock, documenting deliveries, storing supplies, supervising supplies to the Shop Floor and arranging finished goods for outbound. The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate outstanding physical fitness and possess in-depth knowledge of operating various warehouse machinery and equipment such as forklifts, Reach Truck and stackers.
What will you be doing?
The Material Handler's role encompasses being responsible for incoming receiving, data entry, putaway, picking, kitting, and handling the flow of raw materials to value streams, as well as final packing for outbound shipments and finished goods. Key responsibilities include adhering to work instructions, tracking warehouse stock, maintaining documentation, and upholding safety protocols when handling chemicals. They ensure interpersonal cleanliness, conduct equipment inspections, and uphold health, safety, and environmental regulations. Proactive incident reporting and teamwork under the Warehouse Manager's mentorship are also vital aspects of the role.
The Material Handler plays a crucial role in ensuring warehouse efficiency and safety. Responsibilities include following work instructions for tasks like receiving, stock tracking, and chemical handling while maintaining cleanliness and organization based on 5S principles. Regular equipment inspections help uphold safety standards, with any issues promptly reported to the Warehouse Manager. Compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies is meaningful, alongside proactive incident reporting and contributing to HSE improvements. Additionally, the Material Handler supports team objectives, handles scrap materials, and upholds quality, safety, and compliance standards across all operations.
The Requestor ensures the smooth handling of MRO items by unloading goods and ensuring documentation completeness. Breakbulk and Good Received (GR) processes are meticulously performed, including labelling boxes before release for dock-to-stock (DTS) or IQA Inspection. Stocks are accurately put away following SAP recommendations, maintaining inventory precision through accurate identification and labelling. Detailed record-keeping of invoices and documentation facilitates timely audits. In case of non-compliant parts, details are updated in Teams, and items are stored in the on-hold location, with follow-ups conducted with buyers for resolution. Additionally, Finance is updated during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end on parts unable to be Good Received.
Ensure daily availability of Work Orders for the Value Stream, issuing them when empty Kanbans are observed at the Warehouse. Highlight any inability to kit Work Orders by the Start date to the Warehouse Manager. Complete SAP transactions for material issuance through Picking and kitting according to Work Orders or Material Requests. Timely picking of required Raw Materials for Work Orders is essential, followed by accurate putaway of remaining quantities. Maintain inventory accuracy through detailed three-point checks: Physical vs. Label vs. SAP.
Replenish Packaging Materials in primary and secondary areas. Transfer WIP and consumables between cells or Value Streams. Manage Machining Fluids transfer from Chemical Store to VS. Replace empty drums/plastics and collect chips from VS to Schedule Waste area. Label Waste drums before storage. Move shipper cases to the DHR station at the Warehouse. Transfer Value Stream scrap from MRB cage to Scrap Room. Maintain cleanliness and organization in SW rooms, ensuring labelled drums and clean floors.
Perform picking and packing from PKR to PKC in EWM. Replenish packaging materials at FG packing location, weigh, and label boxes. Own the PKR location report and move the pallet to an outbound location. Schedule pickups and deliveries with forwarders as per business needs. Maintain efficient documentation and filing system for outbound shipments. Perform SAP transactions for outbound delivery.
What will you need to be successful?
Candidate requirements include a minimum of Secondary School/SPM/"O" Level education, preferably in Logistics/Supply Chain. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is vital. Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in Contract Logistics or Warehousing. Before use, forklift inspection is mandatory, with completion and signing of the forklift checklist. Possession of MHE licenses is helpful.
Required skills include Warehouse and logistics management, SAP proficiency, and familiarity with Material Handling Equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, and EPJs. Proficiencies in ERP systems (SAP, WMS & Others), data entry, inventory control, time management, process improvement, and safety management are essential. Physical requirements include the ability to carry weights not exceeding 20kg.

Job DescriptionEnsuring all goods and materials received into the company are processed on a daily/timely manner, from receipt at goods inwards through to stores, out into production, from production to the finished goods stores and then into dispatch.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all goods/materials/packages, which are delivered into the company, are unloaded correctly and in line with company procedures and practices.
- To ensure that goods received are correct to delivery notes, checking deliveries upon receipt and signing for the correct number of parcels being delivered.
- To interpret supplier advice notes, certificates of conformity and to verify the advised quantity of goods before goods receiving.
- Helping internal customers with their queries and when they come to collect their parcels.
- To ensure that all goods once receipted are handled correctly labelled before they go onto production lines.
- Ensure that all documentation is filed correctly daily.
- Keep the goods in area clean and tidy at all times.
- Assist with material management and dispatch functions when required.
- Support the transportation of goods around the company when required.
- Ensuring that comply with Health and Safety rules at all times.
- Other duties as required.
Education:
- Diploma / High school “O” level or equivalent
Experience:
- Have experience in working in a stores/goods inwards environment
Knowledge/Skills:
- Have a competent understanding of computer software packages, i.e. Windows, Database.
- Counterbalance Forklift license (current).
- Willing to learn companies database system (SAP)
- Flexible attitude to work methods and practices.
- Be able to work overtime when required.
- Able to work on own initiative.
