1. Packing

• Count & check products based on packing slips accurately.
• Pack items according to product type and shipping method (e.g., fragile, perishable, bulk).
• Ensure proper use of packing materials (bubble wrap, foam, boxes, etc.) to prevent damage.
• Label packages clearly with shipping information, product codes, and barcodes.
• Stack packed boxes or goods securely on pallets based on size, weight, and stability.
• Wrap palletized goods with shrink wrap or stretch film to prevent shifting during transport.
• Label each pallet with shipment details, including destination, content list, and weight.
• Follow proper pallet configuration to optimize space and safety.
• Use pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified) to move pallets to staging or shipping areas.

• Verify shipment contents against orders or invoices.
• Weigh and measure packages to meet carrier requirements.
• Generate shipping labels and documents using systems like FedEx, DHL, UPS, or internal shipping software.
• Attach bills of lading or customs documentation (for international shipments).

• Sort packages by destination or courier.
• Move packed goods to the designated shipping area.
• Load shipments onto trucks or delivery vehicles using pallet jacks or forklifts, if required.
• Coordinate with logistics or dispatch team for timely pickups.

• Identify and report damaged goods or packing errors.
• Ensure packing and palletizing follow company SOPs.

• Monitor inventory during packing to report low stock or shortages.
• Return overpicked or unused items to proper storage locations.
• Record packing activity and material usage.

• Maintain a clean and organized packing station.
• Follow all safety procedures related to lifting, handling materials, and equipment use.
• Dispose of packaging waste responsibly (cardboard, plastics, etc.).

• Minimum SPM or equivalent with certificate or diploma in logistics, supply chain, or related fields preferred.
• Valid licenses or certifications to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., Forklift) are preferred.
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations such as receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping is preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and tools such as WMS, barcode scanners, etc.
• Comfortable using computers for basic tasks and data entry.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and stretch wrapping machines.
• Understanding of safety procedures and manual handling techniques.
• Physically fit to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in order handling.
• Time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic communication skills; multilingual abilities are an advantage.
• Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, or overtime as needed.

Qualifications:

Provide overall leadership in the management of the plant logistics as well as finished product inventory and warehouse operations to fulfill business goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

• To direct and oversee plant coldroom, tunnel freezer, basket & crate wash, logistics and warehousing operations, and maximise resources utilisation in an effective and efficiency manner to meet production schedules, sales order and customer fulfillment.
• To direct and oversee new plant warehousing operations inclusive Carton Freezer, ASRS, Miniload, staging area as well as the logistic to maximise resources utilization in an effective and efficient manner to meet production schedules, sales order and customer fulfillment.
• To manage the material store (Receiving, issuing and stock management) and laundry to support operations from time to time in an effective and efficient manner.
• To liaise and coordinate with Sales and Marketing as well as all other relevant departments on planning and scheduling for production to meet with market requirements
• To ensure operational staff comply with HACCP, GMP and ISO requirements to meet stringent quality expectation by customers and maintain product standards through training, awareness programs and high level of housekeeping exercises.
• To oversee the operation processes to find continuous improvements on procedures, methods, effectiveness and resource utilization, including trouble-shooting and resolving operational problems, as well as accurate data capturing in order to provide accurate management information and documents.
• To ensure sufficient supply of material and proper maintenance of trucks and machineries to prevent downtime and interruption of operation.
• Lead, coach, and guide subordinates to enable them to work together effectively and efficiently. To ensure the competency level of all staff is achieved.
• To perform any other tasks and assignments as directed by the management from time to time.
