Position Overview: The Material Handlers will perform the physical tasks involved in the staging of materials, parts, and supplies for automation manufacturing cells, material transit rooms, staging rooms, etc. The distribution and staging need to occur in a fast-paced environment to facilitate continuous production. This position will be responsible for staging components used in manufacturing in a clean and safe environment, adhering to cGMP within the cleanroom. During plant start-up, this position will work during core business hours, with possible shift adjustments.
Responsibilities:
- Follow written work instructions and procedures for material handling, delivery to cleanroom workstations, material storage, and inventory checks.
- Report and communicate problems to leaders and other functions.
- Work with a team to supply manufacturing cells, operations, and staging locations with materials and components.
- Communicate effectively with production and warehouse leaders to meet operational needs.
- Timely and accurate staging of materials according to production schedules.
- Fill trays with parts from pallets.
- Manage Kanban or WIP via packing and transportation.
- Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum SPM or Diploma, preferably in Business, Supply Chain, or related fields.
- 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing or warehouse support, preferably in the medical device industry.
- Self-motivated and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in start-up production environments is a plus.
- Proficiency in Malay and basic English for documentation and communication.
- Ability to understand and follow SOPs and instructions with minimal supervision.
- Effective communication skills.
- Basic math skills and accuracy in counting.
- Teamwork and reliability in task performance.
- Knowledge of ergonomic lifting techniques; forklift/reach truck experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift loads up to 25kg.
- Stand and bend for up to 12 hours daily.
- Frequent overhead lifting and occasional below waist lifting.

The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for handling, storing, and moving materials, products, and supplies within the warehouse facility. Key Accountabilities Receiving and Inspection- Receive incoming shipments and verify materials against purchase orders, ensuring accuracy.
- Inspect items for damages and report discrepancies to management.
- Update inventory records for newly received goods.
- Store products and materials in designated areas according to their type, size, and shelf life.
- Ensure materials are organized and accessible for easy retrieval.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse space, ensuring all areas are free from hazards.
- Use equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to transport goods within the warehouse.
- Load and unload materials onto trucks and organize shipments for delivery.
- Move materials to designated locations within the warehouse for proper storage and distribution.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements in and out of the warehouse.
- Assist in conducting regular inventory audits and cycle counts.

- Preferred with Port Klang FTZ Warehouse operation and PKFZ Custom related experience.
- E-commerce Operation experience is a plus.

Job DescriptionEnsuring all goods and materials received into the company are processed on a daily/timely manner, from receipt at goods inwards through to stores, out into production, from production to the finished goods stores and then into dispatch.

- Ensure that all goods/materials/packages, which are delivered into the company, are unloaded correctly and in line with company procedures and practices.
- To ensure that goods received are correct to delivery notes, checking deliveries upon receipt and signing for the correct number of parcels being delivered.
- To interpret supplier advice notes, certificates of conformity and to verify the advised quantity of goods before goods receiving.
- Helping internal customers with their queries and when they come to collect their parcels.
- To ensure that all goods once receipted are handled correctly labelled before they go onto production lines.
- Ensure that all documentation is filed correctly daily.
- Keep the goods in area clean and tidy at all times.
- Assist with material management and dispatch functions when required.
- Support the transportation of goods around the company when required.
- Ensuring that comply with Health and Safety rules at all times.
- Other duties as required.
Education:
- Diploma / High school “O” level or equivalent
Experience:
- Have experience in working in a stores/goods inwards environment
Knowledge/Skills:
- Have a competent understanding of computer software packages, i.e. Windows, Database.
- Counterbalance Forklift license (current).
- Willing to learn companies database system (SAP)
- Flexible attitude to work methods and practices.
- Be able to work overtime when required.
