- Oversee accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and input from sales and merchandising teams.
- Lead efforts to optimize inventory levels, avoiding overstocking or stockouts.
- Manage slow-moving or non-moving stock effectively to prevent losses.
- Lead and mentor the Warehouse Managers for Malaysia & Singapore, Delivery Manager, and Supply Demand Manager, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance.
- Set clear goals and performance metrics, providing regular feedback and development opportunities.
- Drive professional growth within the team, ensuring they have the tools and skills needed for success.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to resolve issues and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with company goals.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and increased efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and timely product delivery.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Stay informed about industry changes and propose improvements to minimize disruptions.
- Perform other business development tasks as assigned by management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree or certifications (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma) preferred.
- Expertise in warehouse operations, logistics, and demand planning. Proficient in supply chain software (ERP, SAP). Strong analytical and decision-making skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Physically capable of engaging in outdoor activities regularly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain management, with proven management of warehouse, delivery, and demand functions.

- Take proactive approach in optimizing stock levels and minimize write-offs resulting from expired/overstocking
- Manage bottleneck/supply issues with customers by managing customers’
- expectations and deciding stock allocation in the market
- Challenge and work closely with 3PL partner to ensure fulfilment of duties
- Ensure implementation/improvement plans internally within SCM and with 3PLs are tracked and monitored
- Roll out projects and drive uptake/implementation from customers and obtain buy in from internal stakeholders
- Any other tasks or projects as assigned from time to time

Overview

- Required to integrate planning and execution of processes required to optimize the flow of materials, information and capital in functions that broadly include demand planning, production, inventory management and logistics.
- KPI Report: Monthly KPI report, monitor achievement status and risk control.
- Supply assurance and supply-demand matching, review the production pace and develop a reasonable demand plan based on the project delivery master plan.
- Set different plans and strategies for goods demand based on project and product characteristics.
- Analyze month forecast for demand, output and finished good inventory movement.

- Negotiate contracts, approve and vet new suppliers to secure the best prices, quality, and delivery terms for products and services based on parts/materials demand forecast and specifications.
- Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain, such as supply disruptions or seasonal demand fluctuations.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and responsiveness of the supply chain operations
2.Sourcing, Procurement and Planning:
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with sourcing, such as supply chain disruptions, geopolitical factors, and currency fluctuations
- Develop contingency plans and alternative sourcing strategies to maintain supply continuity and minimize impact on production schedules
- Development of efficient procurement processes and procurement cost/time, optimization of components/materials/parts, costing new items/products and technical aspects of management, monitoring of their application and scheduling of continuous improvement to ensure optimal material procurement/cost
- Collaborate with production to develop accurate production schedules based on customer demand forecasts, inventory levels, and capacity constraints to ensure uninterrupted and timely supply of materials according to production requirements
- Source for alternative suppliers/manufacturers for material/component supply, approved by the customer to ensure production continuity
- Analyze component supply market to identify risks in a timely manner to develop, justify and implement timely corrective actions to avoid material shortage risk
3.Logistics Management:
- Oversee logistics and distribution to ensure timely and accurate delivery of supply / customer products
- Oversee the coordination with customs and other regulatory bodies regarding LMW matters and verify all documentation / reports to ensure accuracy and compliance
4.Vendor and Supplier Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure the best quality, cost, and delivery terms for approved components and materials
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and distributors
5.Cost Management and Analysis:
- Analyze market trends, pricing structures, and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and operational efficiency
6.Performance Metrics:
- Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to supply chain operations, such as order fulfilment rates, delivery times, and inventory turnover
- Analyze performance data to drive continuous improvement in supply chain efficiency
- Regularly review supply chain performance, solicit feedback, and adjust strategies to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
7.Personnel and Performance Management:
- Establish departmental KPIs aligned with organizational objectives and develop a reporting framework to measure performance
- Plan departmental resources, identify training needs and ensure timely implementation of training plans to enhance employee skills and performance
- Provide leadership and guidance to direct reports, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Develop annual and periodic performance goals for direct reports and ensure departmental activities follow the agreed performance management system
8.Budget and Resource Management:
- Prepare departmental budgets in alignment with organizational goals and recommend approval by the managing director
- Ensure that departmental activities are in line with the budget, optimizing resource allocation and maximizing cost-effectiveness
9.Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively, including production, sales, and finance, to ensure alignment of supply chain activities with overall business objectives
- Provide regular updates on supply chain performance and initiatives, focusing on supply chain readiness and product availability
10.Others
- Ensure the IFS ERP system is set up to accurately develop and account for the entire supply chain management in accordance with group policies
- Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the managing director
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess a bachelors degree in supply chain management, logistics or related field.
- Proven experience in leadership roles in supply chain management including but not limited to sourcing, procurement, planning and logistics; experience in EMS industry would be an added advantage.
- Possesses strong cost awareness and analytical capabilities to effectively optimize expenditures and analyze market trends, pricing structures, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Experienced with market dynamics of hardware materials (cold-rolled sheets, aluminum sheets), plastics, and electronic components (diodes, transistors, MOS tubes, resistors, capacitors, inductors, magnetic cores, PCBs, LEDs, integrated circuits), as well as various packaging materials.
- Experienced with LMW operations and customs procedures.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate complex information clearly.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate, coordinate and support a team.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
- Excellent command in Bahasa Malaysia and English language, both in written and spoken.
- Being able to communicate in Mandarin would be an added advantage.

The “Supply Chain Analyst ” will be based in Flex PTP .
In charge of customer interface on strategic materials for key assigned accounts. Hold up material manager or director to develop, implement GPSC reports, data research trends to facilitate resolutions making.
Responsibilities:
- Drives sourcing/pricing strategies in materials quotations.
- Presents materials value-add to customers or suppliers, and influence customer to use Flex preferred suppliers.
- Interfaces with customer or supplier in new project start-up, for cost of ownership issues.
- Develops and guides implementation of flexibility and supply assurance plans.
- Manages component cost/price on a local, regional and global basis.
- Tracks materials financial performance and initiate corrective actions when required.
- Defines and implements pricing and costing strategies.
- Coordinate sourcing strategies with Supply Management and Customers.
- Develop and implement cost take down strategies.
- Increase Vendor Managed Inventory, Reduced Guide-Time and Electronic Data Interface penetration.
Supply Management:
- Manage regional supplier contract negotiations, which includes Memorandums of Comprehension, Non-disclosure and regional pricing agreements.
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships.
- Measure and report Purchase Price Variance and initiate action plans.
- Monitor and manage supplier times.
- Mitigates shortages, excess on order and excess on hand.
- Participate on and help global and regional commodity teams.
- Contribute information/data on top spend suppliers for quarterly scorecards.
- Manages material cost reviews.
- Drive initiatives to improve gross material margin.
- Identify, implement and drive actions for Retained Purchase Price Variance (RPPV) optimization.
- Drive reconciliation process with customer (PPV, Premium charges, carrying costs, freight charges, excess and obsolete inventory, Non-cancelable, Non-Returnable (NCNR), etc.)
- Identify opportunities to increase turnkey business and develop materials management plan.
- Coordinate quarterly/monthly PPV hard call process.
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in finance, materials sourcing, commodity management or supply chain design/management or other related area.
- Must have an understanding of cost accounting, electronic component markets, price trends and technologies.
- A background in electronics manufacturing and a thorough understanding of Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) product development process.
- To perform the major job responsibilities the use of the following tools may be required: Office Skills: telephones, data entry, office software to include, word processing, spreadsheets, presentation packages, and database systems.
