**Responsibilities:**
To assist the Team Lead/VP and CCO in the following areas: -
+ **AML Investigation** - ensures processing of transaction monitoring alerts and escalations are performed on timely basis and accurately per the internal policy and standards.
+ **Management Information (MI)** - ensures timely and accurate production of reports and statistical data for management reports and regulatory reporting.
+ **Policies and procedures** - ensure proper implementation, maintenance and oversight of FCC policies and related control documents consistently across the Bank.
+ Supports Regulatory Review / Audit / Compliance Testing and Issue Management framework in a timely manner to ensure that any gap is effectively and sustainably remediated by respective control process owners.

**Requirements:**
+ Applicant must have a recognized Degree in Finance and Banking, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or its equivalent from a recognized university/higher learning institution with minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience is strongly encouraged to apply.
+ Strong knowledge of Malaysia, Japanese and US banking regulations/guidelines in relation to Financial Crime risks (i.e., money laundering, terrorism financing, sanctions evasion and bribery / corruption).
+ Strong self-motivated person who can work under minimal supervision with professional communication, interpersonal, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ A good team player who is meticulous, able to multi-task and detail oriented.

**Responsibilities:**
Structure and execute efficient and effective audits to:

**Requirements:**
+ Applicant must have a recognized Degree in Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or its equivalent from a recognized university/higher learning institution.
+ Desirable to have at least 8+ years audit experience including experience in financial crimes (i.e. Anti-Money Laundering, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery and Corruption) in financial institutions and related markets, related regulatory bodies and/or Big 4 professional services firms.
+ Relevant certification in Financial Crimes (e.g. CAMS) preferred.
+ Experience with the financial industry and related markets, regulatory bodies, and current industry events trends.

**Job Description:**
As a member of the APAC Corporate Audit team this is unique opportunity to work within a collaborative and diverse team covering Banking, Operations and Credit, with teammates across APAC and the Globe. This role is expected to effectively manage Malaysia governance and regulatory relationships and matters in conjunction with regional manager, representing the Audit team in local management meetings. In addition to country responsibilities, the individual is expected to support the completion of the audit plan, both locally as well as regional/global audits.

+ Lead/assist to develop an audit plan (e.g. audit scope, audit test plans) based on detailed evaluation of process/business risks and controls.

Education:
+ Bachelors' Degree preferably in accounting, finance or related field.

Work experience:
+ At least 10-15 years of relevant work experience, with focus on audit (internal audit or external audit with Big 4 firms). Exceptional mid-career change candidates with no audit experience will be considered.
Knowledge:

+ To develop recommendations for continuous improvement and support implementation as well as taking appropriate action to correct the violation of laws, regulations (including reporting any suspicious act) or the Banks' Compliance Manual and Standard Procedures in accordance with the internal procedures.
+ To engage and communicate with BNM/LFSA by understanding the underlying enquiries and issues for the purpose of detecting compliance issues and complying with the requirements.
+ To provide a high quality regulatory advisory service to Business Unit in respect of various products and support offices across the Banks on local regulatory requirements, including but not limited to foreign exchange requirements, PDPA, banking secrecy provision under various laws, regulations, regulatory notices and guidelines in order to ensure the Banks' compliance with these requirements.
+ To assess, report, and investigate of regulatory breach incident, including follow up for action plan closure.
+ To perform ad hoc reviews based on risk areas and / or thematic review pertaining to local laws and regulations.
**Requirements:**
+ Applicant must have a recognized Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Law or its equivalent from a recognized university/higher learning institution. Candidates with Compliance Certification is highly preferred.
+ Preferably with minimum 6-8 years of relevant working experience in the Financial Crime Compliance. Additional relevant experience in other sections of Banking industry will be considered as an advantage.
+ Strong knowledge of banking regulatory environment and regulations and deep understanding of industry trends, products, relevant laws and regulations.
+ Good communication skills with the ability to influence others and build good rapport with local and external regulatory bodies.
+ Strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate with other departments.
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills in dealing with employees or external customers/client.

**Responsibilities:**
**Architecture & Design**
+ Manage and define overall solution architecture, data integration and data flow designs across banking platforms.
