Job Description:

  1. Collaborate with the burn in board/Apps design team to drive the readiness of automotive burn in hardware, ensuring seamless operation in external burn in facilities.
  2. Coordinate with package houses (OSATs) and external burn in labs to oversee smooth Automotive burn in operations, requiring regular travel for on-site support, debugging, and troubleshooting of burn in hardware and related tests.
  3. Conduct hands-on debugging and troubleshooting of burn boards and other relevant Rel hardware at external burn in facilities.
  4. Analyze reliability test results using TIBCO Spotfire and other statistical software, promptly identifying and escalating any quality issues. Collaborate with the FA team to pinpoint root causes, ensuring timely corrective actions at Burn In house and OSATs.
  5. Manage all documentation related to Automotive burn in and generate comprehensive reports.
  6. Provide support to reliability evaluations and reliability qualification projects.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  1. BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 8-10 years of hands-on experience in Reliability Engineering at a company that develops, manufactures, and supplies integrated circuits.
  2. Must have a strong background and hands-on experience in semiconductor device reliability tests and procedures, including HTOL, THB, HTRB, HALT, TC, and various accelerated lifetime tests. Preferably, experience with ESD HBM, ESD CDM, and Latch-up Test.
  3. In-depth knowledge of automotive reliability standards (AEC).
  4. Candidates that have experience with high voltage products with GaN, SiC, and other semiconductor power devices will be given preference.
  5. Hands-on with Reliability hardware and system level troubleshooting, ATE data review, and Statistical analysis.
  6. Excellent communication skills, with a track record of producing detailed reports and presenting technical data to cross-functional teams.
  7. In-depth knowledge of IC components reliability failure modes, mechanisms, and failure analysis techniques is required.

ENVIRONMENTAL STRESS SCREENING (ESS)

  • Designs, develops and/or supports environmental test programs, procedures and profiles
  • Designs and/or supports mechanical/electrical interfaces for product tests.
  • Performs failure analysis on environmental test failures.
  • Coordinates 3rd party development of ESS activities.

SYSTEMS & Software

  • Analyzes and interprets software or system level diagnostic failure (software and hardware).
  • Develops and/or modifies software or system level plans and tests.
  • Develops and/or supports quality comprehensive test programs.
  • Develops quotes for test development and enhancements.
  • Performs test ability analysis (DFT).

From test software and hardware development, product debugging and test optimization – you help ensure our products are consistently competitive and leading in the market. In each of these roles you'll dive deeper into manufacturing, quality, design verification or validation engineering.

In this role, you'll support the development and implementation of strategies that achieve profitability targets on assigned TI product lines through new product development, cost reduction, capacity expansion and yield enhancement projects. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for all operational aspects related to your assigned product portfolio, resolve customer quality and application issues, and facilitates cross-functional teams for problem solving.   • 3+ years of experience in SMT , PCB design , and PCB-A development and testing.
  • Hands-on experience with ICT (In-Circuit Testing) and FCT (Functional Testing) processes.
  • Strong understanding of PCB design tools and testing equipment.
  • Solid knowledge of soldering techniques, assembly processes, and component placement in SMT.
  • Proficient in debugging and troubleshooting electrical circuits, both at the component level and in full PCB assemblies.
