Our CEO, Tatsuro Marui

Marui previously served as part of a strategic consulting team at Marketo, now Adobe Inc., one of only six globally focused on supporting key enterprise clients. He successfully drove digital transformation for numerous organizations using highly replicable tactical frameworks widely adopted globally. With expertise spanning GTM strategy development to marketing and sales technologies, Marui has significantly contributed to corporate growth as both a strategist and marketer.

After working on global expansions for technology startups, Marui founded 01GROWTH Inc. in 2021. He holds a Certificate in Global Management (CGM) from INSEAD.

Job Responsibilities

We are seeking candidates who will be stationed at our Southeast Asia (Malaysia) office, supporting Japanese clients while driving business development locally in Malaysia.

  • Develop and execute digital strategies and GTM strategies for client organizations.
  • Provide strategic proposals and implementation support to drive client business growth.
  • Manage projects and maintain effective communication with clients.
  • Lead business development initiatives in Southeast Asia.
Required Qualifications
  • Over 3 years of experience in strategy development or project management at a corporate organization or consulting firm.
  • Knowledge and experience in digital strategies, GTM strategies, or business development.
  • Willingness and adaptability to support clients in both Japanese and international markets, particularly in Southeast Asia.
  • A team player who can also work independently to solve problems effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Work experience or residency in Southeast Asia.
  • Consulting experience in B2B businesses or SaaS companies.
  • Leadership experience in global projects.
  • Knowledge of CRM, marketing automation, and sales enablement tools.

Summary

The role will involve analyzing and providing solutions to businesses problems, as well involvement in overseeing development of the proposed solutions and finally completion of the projects. There will also be participation in executing plans to managing change impacts to our customers’ organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Business

1. Market Research - gathering market information to be used for data analysis and provide

analysis & conclusion for market research

2. Gather business information to be used for business process improvement analysis and provide

assessment, recommendation and conclusion on the analysis.

3. Recommend solutions based on analysis, logical thinking and problem-solving skills

Projects

1. Assist in formulating and execute project governance, monitors and controls.

2. Assist in formulating project tracking and execute progress monitoring.

3. Will be project knowledge source of reference for the project team.

4. Coordinating and streamlining all activities within a project.

Change

1. Execute plans in managing people and organization changes.

2. Involved in planning and executing communication, trainings, and stakeholder management.

3. Lead the support and alignment to project activities.

Requirements:

• BAC/MSC in Computer Studies/Information Systems/Software Engineering/ Management

Information or any related qualification

• 3-5 years relevant experience

• Expert in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• Knowledge in Microsoft Project will be an advantage

• Knowledge in logical thinking will be an advantage

  • As a Consultant you will:

  • Here’s What You Need:


  • Minimum 2 year of strategy consulting experience at a consulting firm
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in at least one of the following: digital strategy, transformation strategy, operating model strategy, technology in M&A, technology cost optimization, or technology driven revenue growth strategy
  • Minimum 2 years of experience writing business cases
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in planning / structuring analytical work, facilitating team workshops, and developing (technology) strategy recommendations
  • Curiosity about technology and its influences on business and work
  • Top-notch communication (written and oral) people skills
  • Strong presentation skills: including the ability to synthesize information and bring a message forward
  • A Bachelor’s degree

  • Institutionalization of knowledge gained from above work streams creating artefacts such as presentations case studies and reports to be published internally externally
  • Candidate should have strong communication skills, demonstrating skills in sharing and explaining complex concepts, creative and pro-active thinking, and situational adaptation of these skills.


  • Qualifications and Education Requirements:


  • Full Time Graduation.
  • Minimum degree and preferably master’s degree with strong academic results in a relevant field.

    Deliver data-driven strategies to transform client’s business operations or business model with a target to optimize strategic, financial, and operational goals.

    Good to have knowledge around new business model in energy retail, clean energy technologies and regulatory standards

    Key Responsibilities:

    Understand client needs and design, implement, support business processes with focus on out-of-the-box solutions.

    Support in proposal creation and presales activities for the engagement; new accounts.

    Engage in producing high-impact reports, points of view, developing market relevant assets and accelerators.

    Contributes towards the development of practice policies, procedures, frameworks etc.

    Guides less experienced team members in delivering solutions.

    Lead efforts towards building go-to-market/ off the shelf /point solutions and process methodologies for reuse.

    Role Description:

    Should understand different business process in of Utility Industry (Regulated and Deregulated)

    Commercial mindset to identify and pursue new business opportunities

    Experience in projects encompassing performance management project management and reporting.

    Strong analytical and critical thinking acumen and manage end to end delivery for a project

    Ability to perform in a fluid changing environment consulting with minimal supervision

    Demonstrated strength in data analysis using BI tools viz Power BI Tableau and MS Excel is desired

    Institutionalization of knowledge gained from above work streams creating artefacts such as presentations case studies and reports to be published internally externally

    Candidate should have strong communication skills, demonstrating skills in sharing and explaining complex concepts, creative and pro-active thinking, and situational adaptation of these skills.

    Qualifications and Education Requirements:

    Full Time Graduation.

    Minimum degree and preferably master’s degree with strong academic results in a relevant field.

    Analyst: 1+ year; Consultant: 5+ years; Manager: 10+ years.

    Experience in consulting type of work connected to technology advisory, management/strategy consulting, or relevant experience from the Utilities industry.

    Open to both locals and expatriates with work visa sponsorship covered for the employee.

    Employee required to be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
