Responsibilities:

• Assist in monitoring project progress and proactively addressing potential issues.
• Support the Project Planner in compiling work programs and preparing progress reports for submission to clients.
• Assist the Maintenance Engineer in planning and executing routine maintenance works and traffic management plans at site, as outlined in the Service Level Agreements (SLA), including the preparation of Notices of Defects (NOD).
• Support quality control activities to ensure all requirements and standards are met.
• Assist the Contract & Claims Unit in tracking, analysing, and reporting on all claims and payment processes to the Project Manager.
• Maintain a high level of compliance with the company’s established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and security regulations.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or any related course.

A Lecturer (Practice) (Level B) / Senior Lecturer (Practice) (Level C) is expected to make solid contributions to teaching and learning within their Department and School. The Senior Lecturer at this level may be appointed in recognition of distinction and/or educational leadership in their disciplinary area. The Candidate is expected to engage in high-quality education and enhancing the student learning experience of the Department and School. The Candidate will play a strong leadership role in educational innovation, curriculum design and review. In addition, s/he will lead and make an outstanding contribution inside and outside of the University, and in engagement with the community and profession, notably in areas related to teaching and learning, and professional activities relevant to the profession or discipline. The key result areas of Teaching and Engagement are the basis for the primary duties and responsibilities of the role. This position will have a workload arrangement of 80% Teaching and 20% Engagement. Other duties may be required from time to time as directed by the Head of Department and Head of School.

Reporting Line: The position reports to Head of Department.

• Carry out assigned work according to Reliability-Centred Maintenance (Unscheduled/Scheduled/Condition-Based Maintenance) and Sustainability Program, including other disciplines when required.
• Perform maintenance for specialized/complex equipment according to Reliability-Centred Maintenance, especially on assets or facility systems requiring expertise.
• Perform preventive and routine maintenance activities and ensure all data is recorded in the Engineering Operation Data (EOD) module of the Asset and Services Information System (ASIS).
• Request orders for goods as per Service Work (SW) / Service Request (SR) requirements, monitor vendors’ work progress, and verify invoices for payment processing.
• Attend and verify Testing & Commissioning and assist in the Asset/Project Registration process for new assets/projects as per requirements.
