Heavy Truck Driver ===Summary ---We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Truck Driver to join our logistics team. As a key member of our operation, you will be responsible for safely operating Class 4 and Class 5 vehicles, maintaining accurate records, and promoting positive client relations. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and safety-focused individual to contribute to our company's success.Responsibilities ---Safely operate Class 4 and Class 5 vehicles, including milk tankers, log trucks, and bulk transport vehiclesConduct pre-start checks and maintain assigned vehicles in sound conditionComply with company policies, health & safety procedures, and New Zealand transport regulationsMaintain accurate delivery and collection records using company systemsPromote positive client relations and represent the company professionallyParticipate in practical assessments, including controlled test drives and defined routesEngage in workplace exposure sessions to meet real drivers on shiftRequirementsRequirements: ---Minimum 3+ years of experience as a heavy truck driverPrior work in logistics, freight, or transport operations preferredStrong work ethic, reliability, and pride in vehicle careAbility to work independently and within a teamExcellent communication and time-management skillsStrong focus on safety and regulatory complianceValid Class 4 or Class 5 driver's licenseWillingness to participate in practical assessments and workplace exposure sessionsBenefits
