Your Challenges Are
- You will actively shape the future-oriented implementation and support the complex SAP S/4HANA applications for the transportation management processes (including SAP Logistic Execution–Transportation (LE-TRA) and SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management) that are used worldwide.
- You are interested in further developing and optimizing the IT solutions used in the transportation management processes. You are familiar with the new ways and agile methods for accelerating the implementation of IT Solutions.
- You will translate the requirements of our internal partners into preliminary studies and technical concepts and work in global project teams on demanding and complex projects, sub-projects, and work packages in the field of transportation management and logistics systems.
- You will support the Run operation including corrective maintenance, housekeeping, participate in internal & external audits, and monitoring & troubleshooting to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day business.
- You will be in regular contact with colleagues and key users worldwide, organizing and processing requests for the support and optimization of business processes.
- You will seamlessly operate in a multicultural international environment. Discussions, problem solving, documentation and conducting training courses in English are no problem for you and are rather the rule.
What We Are Looking For
- You have a university degree in (business) informatics or (business) engineering or a comparable qualification.
- You have several years of professional experience with a focus on the creation of innovative concepts, in the implementation and implementation of projects, in the takeover of the operation and support of SAP applications (focus: transportation management SAP LE-TRA / SAP TM plus integration to neighboring logistics applications).

Description
You will be managing the full lifecycle of our road transportation network in the APAC region:
Transportation Planning Management: Management of transportation planning and contracts, from concept/specifications to supplier awarding.
Supplier Management: Overseeing supplier implementation and ensuring quality in daily operations, especially when supplier performance does not meet MB expectations and specifications.
Regional Responsibilities:
You will serve as the local representative in Kuala Lumpur for the Center of Competence (CoC) in road transportation, reporting to the global office in Germersheim, Germany. You will manage the road forwarder contracts for approximately 10 logistics centers across Asia Pacific, collaborating closely with the Head of Cluster Asia/Pacific.
As part of the CoC, you will contribute to the global setup of road forwarders, including standards, operational tenders, and monitoring processes, working with colleagues in Germany, Spain, and North America.
- Coordinate interfaces between APAC logistics centers, the GSP team in Germersheim, and extended teams in Barcelona and North America.
- Lead transportation cost-saving initiatives through tenders and projects, working with central departments.
- Manage transportation projects and tenders to ensure timely and targeted execution.
- Oversee project management activities, including milestones, steering committees, and escalation meetings.
Support Functions:
- Assist in setting up and ramping up the GSP global forwarder quality management system in APAC.
- Implement qualification programs, audits, and development initiatives for forwarders.
- Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and training programs.
- Optimize planning and purchasing processes, developing new methods for efficiency.
- Manage escalation initiatives with freight suppliers to meet MB standards.
Qualifications
Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in business engineering, business, transportation, purchasing, or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in automotive or corporate logistics, supply chain management, customer relationship management, or team management. Experience with international freight forwarders or trading companies is preferred. Auditor training (e.g., VDA, APQP) is a plus. Strong analytical, strategic, communication, and leadership skills are essential. Knowledge of Lean Management is desirable.
We seek proactive individuals who are accountable, solution-oriented, thrive in fast-paced environments, and possess excellent communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.

- Purchases forecast to be imported every month based on historical sales and the stock availability as well as following ordering schedule of Mannheim
- Drive S&OP Processes to surface issues faced by Sales team, and pro-actively solve them
- Stock taking at warehouse to ensure book & physical stock reconciliation at least 2x/year
- Take proactive approach in optimizing stock levels and minimize write-offs resulting from expired/overstocking
- Manage bottleneck/supply issues with customers by managing customers’
- expectations and deciding stock allocation in the market
- Challenge and work closely with 3PL partner to ensure fulfilment of duties
- Ensure implementation/improvement plans internally within SCM and with 3PLs are tracked and monitored
- Roll out projects and drive uptake/implementation from customers and obtain buy in from internal stakeholders
- Any other tasks or projects as assigned from time to time

Job Description
- Collaborate with Technical and Project teams to understand hardware requirements for new projects and source suitable products or alternatives.
- Manage the full procurement process including quotation requests, sample purchases, supplier evaluations, and purchase order issuance.
- Identify, evaluate, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers of computer hardware, data centre components, and IT infrastructure.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and lead times with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and applicable regulations, including import and export requirements.
- Maintain accurate and organized supply chain records for audit and reporting.
- Provide regular updates to management on supplier performance, procurement costs, and potential risks.
- Monitor market trends affecting supply chain operations including product innovations, and pricing dynamics in the computer hardware and digital infrastructure sectors.
- Recommend improvements to supplier selection, procurement methods, and communication processes to strengthen supply chain resilience.
- Provide support to team members on ad-hoc supply chain or procurement tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in the Information Technology industry, particularly in supply chain, procurement, or related roles.
- Proven experience in specialized computer hardware sourcing, vendor negotiation, and end-to-end procurement activities.
- Must be able to work on-site at the Cyberjaya office, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- A proactive and aggressive individual, capable of taking initiative and driving cost-saving procurement strategies.
- Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory, and logistics operations relevant to IT and digital infrastructure.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in data center or IT infrastructure procurement.
- Exposure to international vendor sourcing and logistics coordination.
- Familiarity with implementing or optimizing procurement systems or processes.
