We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Global Trade Compliance Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with global trade regulations, supporting customs clearance processes, and coordinating with suppliers and distributors across various countries. Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus, as many of our suppliers are based in China.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Suppliers and Distributors: Work closely with suppliers, distributors, and customs brokers in various countries to validate commercial invoice information and support customs clearance processes.
- Free Trade Agreement Compliance: Collaborate directly with suppliers to ensure compliance with Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and leverage benefits.
- Global Trade Audits: Conduct global trade audits to ensure adherence to existing policies and regulations.
- HTS Classification: Demonstrate familiarity with Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classification in Asia to support accurate product classification and compliance.
- Special Projects: Provide support on various special projects as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the trade compliance function.
- Mandarin Speaking Skills: Utilize Mandarin language skills to facilitate communication with Chinese suppliers and enhance compliance efforts.
Qualifications And Attributes
- Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in global trade compliance or a related role.
- Strong understanding of international trade regulations and customs procedures.
- Proficiency in HTS classification, particularly in the Asian region.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- English proficiency a must; Mandarin language proficiency is highly desirable.
- Experience with Free Trade Agreement compliance.
- Prior experience supporting trade compliance for an international consumer product company.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and trade compliance software.

The Trade Processing Analyst is an intermediate level role responsible for executing complex transactions and participating in complex processes in coordination with the Transaction Services team. Position Summary
The Master Data and Trade Investment Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring accuracy, integrity and efficient management of business-critical data, while also supporting trade investment planning and analysis. This dual-role function is responsible for maintaining master data (customer and pricing) in SAP and providing insights into trade investment effectiveness to support business decisions.
Responsibilities
Master Data Management
- Create, update and maintain master data (customer & pricing) in SAP and other systems (ESP, High Radius, E-Condition2).
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency across system and other application or reporting tools.
- Act as key liaison for master data issues and improvements.
Trade Investment Analysis
- Monitor and maintain the renewal / expiry of the trade investment or rebate agreement.
- Monitor and manage trade Investment approvals and approval matrix and provide a monthly reconciliation to Finance Team and quarterly report to international reporting
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency across system and other application or reporting tools.
- Involve in Trade Investment review meetings by preparing the information needed prior to the meetings.
Others
- Prepare quarterly review documentation for SOX compliance on customer, pricing and trade investment master data.
- Assist and provide the documentation to internal and external auditors.
What we are looking for
Required Skills and Experience
- Accounting or Finance diploma/degree, or ACCA/CPA/CIMA partly qualified or related field.
- Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in Master Data, Sales Finance or Commercial Analytics roles within FMCG.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to communicate in English (speaking and writing).
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritize high-speed, matrixed environment.

Job DescriptionResponsibilities:
Trade Compliance Activities in the BU
• Oversee the Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW) operations, ensuring adherence to the Royal Malaysian Customs Department (RMCD) regulations and LMW license conditions (Section 65/65A of the Customs Act 1967)
• Manage LMW license applications, renewals, and amendments, ensuring all required documentation (JKDM Form No. 1, Appendix A, MIDA Manufacturing License, etc.) is in order and submitted promptly
• Support audits, inspections, reportorial requirement and inquiries related to LMW activities, providing necessary documentation and explanations
• Ensure proper record-keeping and inventory management within the LMW, in line with customs requirements and ensure timely submission of all specific reportorial requirements (e.g., M1, M2, M4), to RMCD
• Maintain trade operations and compliance activities in accordance with TE policies, procedures, and controls, in collaboration with key stakeholders at the DDN manufacturing plant
• Act as a point of contact for DDN manufacturing plant stakeholders on trade-related matters
• Maintain BU-level Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reporting to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the operations
Partner with Trade Compliance Professionals and Stakeholders across the Enterprise
• Partner with GTS Governance to monitor trade compliance regulatory and legislative changes, assess the potential impact to the BU, and determine the necessary actions and communications to the appropriate stakeholders
• Work with GTS Governance teams to conduct trade compliance audits and oversee corrective action plans
• Partner with GTS Governance to develop and administer effective trade compliance training as required for the DDN manufacturing plant
• Ensure appropriate utilization of the GTS Operations Service Center for product classification (import and export), restricted party screening, and duty savings compliance, and otherwise ensure proper country of origin determination, valuation, and admissibility

Position Summary
The Master Data and Trade Investment Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring accuracy, integrity and efficient management of business-critical data, while also supporting trade investment planning and analysis. This dual-role function is responsible for maintaining master data (customer and pricing) in SAP and providing insights into trade investment effectiveness to support business decisions.
Responsibilities
**Master Data Management**
+ Create, update and maintain master data (customer & pricing) in SAP and other systems (ESP, High Radius, E-Condition2).
+ Ensure data accuracy, consistency across system and other application or reporting tools.
+ Act as key liaison for master data issues and improvements.
**Trade Investment Analysis**
+ Monitor and maintain the renewal / expiry of the trade investment or rebate agreement.
+ Monitor and manage trade Investment approvals and approval matrix and provide a monthly reconciliation to Finance Team and quarterly report to international reporting
+ Ensure data accuracy, consistency across system and other application or reporting tools.
+ Involve in Trade Investment review meetings by preparing the information needed prior to the meetings.
**Others**
+ Prepare quarterly review documentation for SOX compliance on customer, pricing and trade investment master data.
+ Assist and provide the documentation to internal and external auditors.

Required Skills and Experience
+ Accounting or Finance diploma/degree, or ACCA/CPA/CIMA partly qualified or related field.
+ Minimum 2-4 years' experience in Master Data, Sales Finance or Commercial Analytics roles within FMCG.
+ Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
+ Ability to communicate in English (speaking and writing).
+ Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
+ Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritize high-speed, matrixed environment.
Preferred Skills and Experience
