To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a/an Technical Program Manager located in Flex Perai . Partner with the Design & Engineering teams and commercial teams to drive the design, validation and implementation of innovative and cost-effective product solutions of varying scope in order to meet customer requirements from development of conceptual prototypes and architecture thru the NPI phase. Work closely with the Director of Program Management to define market and product requirements and provide voice of the market and customer to the design & engineering teams in I&NV.

What a typical day looks like:

• Drive the execution of product development, contributing technical expertise to product development, coordinating the development of new technologies with technical program engineers, and ensuring program timing and budgets are met
• Drive definition of products in markets including consumer, industrial, medical, digital health, automotive, enterprise and cloud computing, IoT, etc.
• Actively identify and assess new product opportunities and initiatives for customer designs and white label products. Work closely with design engineering to extract and develop core product features-advantages-benefits information to drive and support the product marketing strategy.
• Translate customer’s technical needs and requirements to the NPI and CFT teams
• Knowledge of multiple functional technologies/ processes, industries or functions and understanding of inter-dependencies of such processes at the site
• Establish and ensure effective achievement of functional strategic plans and objectives for the site and may have P&L responsibilities.
• Develops plans for structuring and implementing major initiatives
• Lead program team, including regular team meetings and updates to management.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Possesses a Degree in related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years of working experience in the related field is required.
• Candidate with experiences in project management, process engineering or industrial engineering will be added advantage

As the Senior Technical Program Manager, you will manage a variety of complex, cross-functional programs and lead all aspects of assigned program delivery. The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Collaborate closely with the Technical Program Team to track and systemize the progress of concurrent tech projects, and manage project/program risks to ensure success.
• Oversee and coordinate multiple projects and resources, working within a matrix environment and leading Agile/Scrum teams as a coach or scrum master.
• Prepare project schedules, define milestones, track progress, and provide reports.
• Work with engineers, designers, quality engineers, and product teams to resolve blockers and ensure smooth project delivery.
• Manage project and program risks effectively, ensuring that all projects are delivered successfully and on time.

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Over 5 years of technical program management experience, ideally with a background in development.
• Proven project delivery or technical leadership experience.
• Proficiency in managing multiple projects concurrently within a matrix environment
• Effective communication skills for handling interactions with management, teams, and cross-functional groups, projects and programs.
• Experience in a dynamic, fast-moving environment that requires autonomy and the ability to manage various projects and tasks simultaneously.

As a **Technical Program Manager – Electronics Manufacturing**, you will be deployed to our cellular manufacturing site in **Penang, Malaysia**, where you’ll lead programs that bring new products from design to volume production. You’ll serve as the key technical interface between engineering, operations, and manufacturing partners to ensure smooth execution across prototyping, NPI, and high-volume builds. • Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of hardware and manufacturing programs, from NPI through mass production.
• Drive factory readiness including process validation, production line bring-up, test strategy implementation, and yield tracking.
• Serve as the on-site technical liaison between internal teams and external manufacturers, ensuring alignment on product specs, production schedules, and quality targets.
• Support and manage hardware certification processes, including regulatory testing and documentation.
• Own the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process from concept through factory implementation.
• Monitor program metrics (cost, schedule, quality) and proactively address gaps or risks.
• Collaborate closely with production engineering and operations to optimize yield, throughput, and quality.
• Partner with ERP and data teams to ensure traceability, process tracking, and reporting.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
• 5+ years of experience in hardware program management or manufacturing engineering in electronics or wireless hardware.
• Experience supporting factory operations, ideally in SMT, PCBA assembly, module-level integration, or cellular product builds.
• Familiarity with manufacturing documentation, process qualification (FAI, PFMEA, etc.), and quality tracking.
• Proficiency in managing ECOs, production BOMs, and certification workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to work on-site with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication, organizational, and execution skills in a fast-paced environment.

• Prior experience working at or with a CM (contract manufacturer) or ODM.
• Familiarity with cellular modules, RF test stations, or automated production lines.
