About the role - you will:
Total Rewards Partner
- Partner and Collaborate with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and Business Units (BUs) in Malaysia and other Asia Pacific Countries to develop, enhance and ensure consistent implementation of Total Rewards Policies and Programs.
- Review, design and implement local compensation and benefits programs which meet employee needs and are cost effective, and manage programs including stakeholder management.
- Provide specific insights and recommendations to manufacturing plants to ensure that their local application of compensation and benefits policies and programs are aligned with the overall company strategic objectives.
- Analyze market data, identify trends, best practices and continuously improve our programs based on feedback and data.
- Drive, transform and improve work processes and employee experience, preferably enabled with technology and analytics.
- Responsible for Country-Audits action planning in relation to Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) and Pay Equity
- Develop and deliver effective communication strategies to ensure employees understand and value the total rewards programs.
- Support ad-hoc project work and provide leadership where necessary to enhance the effectiveness of the Total Rewards programs.

- Support the implementation of Global Benefit Programs in Asia aligning to Global Roadmap
- Develop competitive benefit programs tailored to the needs of the Asia region and in line with the company's strategic goals and industry benchmarks.
- Lead the wellbeing initiatives for Asia, ensuring that initiatives planned at the global level can meet the diverse needs of employees across different countries in Asia.
- Collaborate with different stakeholders across Seagate to execute country wellbeing initiatives
- Identify process opportunities and potential solution ideas and partner with cross-functions on benefits and wellbeing systems and processes.
- Drive benefits communication strategies across a variety of media, including, web, email, presentations, video, and social media.

Position Overview
Support the Director, Total Rewards- International and the Director, HRBP- Malaysia in the development and execution of a comprehensive reward strategy for Insulet Malaysia and other APAC territories (currently China and Singapore), which is aligned with Insulet's overarching goals, market-competitive and compliant with all relevant regulations.
Lead the integration between reward strategy and flawless execution in partnership with HR Operations and Advisory. Guide, coach and mentor HR colleagues on Total Rewards topics and the operation of Reward policies and processes.
Reward Strategy and Policy Development
- Lead the development and evolution of policies in all areas of reward for Malaysia (pay, incentives, benefits and employee services, expense allowances, and terms and conditions of employment), pro-actively and in response to organizational growth and regulatory change. Collaborate with Legal and Compliance colleagues and external consultants to monitor and interpret local laws and respond as required.
- Support organization planning and design, operating the Insulet Global Career Framework (GCF). Contribute to other Total Rewards and Malaysia HR projects as required.
- Identify and evaluate benefits enhancements to meet the needs of our employees, and maintain our competitive position in the marketplace.
- Ensure that policy change takes place in close partnership with HR Services, Payroll, Advisory and other key collaboration partners and stakeholders. Partner with HR colleagues to document key processes and support flawless execution.
Reward Operations
- Lead on the daily management of Total Rewards in Malaysia. Ensure timely resolution of benefits and compensation inquiries escalated from the HR Operations and Advisory teams. Support the wider HR team in resolving complex issues and queries.
- Act as first-point of contact for benefits brokers and vendors, and oversee benefits administration support by HR Operations.
- Lead on all benchmarking and job evaluation exercises for Insulet Malaysia and APAC, up to Director level.
- Participate in compensation and benefits surveys, plan and conduct research and analysis on market competitiveness and trends and present recommendations for discussion with HR colleagues and Insulet Malaysia management team.
- Support the annual Reward Cycle for Malaysia, including pay reviews, bonus cycles, and benefits renewals.
- Assist with compensation and benefits analysis, budgeting and evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of reward programs.
- Support onboarding and new hire briefings by the wider HR team.
- Lead on compliance and reporting activities for Reward.
- Collaborate with Total Rewards colleagues in the management of compensation and benefits for other APAC locations (China, Singapore and others tbd).
HR Systems and Technology
- Lead the HR Operations team in conducting periodic reviews and audits of Workday data relating to Total Rewards policies and programmes
- Liaise with HRIS on Workday development and exploitation. Provide operational support for the implementation of new rewards programs, technology and processes.
- Provide local support for the Manager, Global Mobility (US-based) and guidance to Malaysia HR Operations colleagues in administering expats and business travellers.
- Oversee administration and tracking of immigration and visa activity, international employment contracts, management of split salary individuals and relocation and expatriate management (working closely with Kinetix). Keep a pulse on changes in international employment laws.
Talent Attraction, Engagement and Retention
- Lead initiatives to showcase Insulet’s compensation and benefits in support of talent attraction and retention. Create compelling narratives and materials, both in digital and physical form, that highlight the unique and competitive aspects of our Total Reward packages. Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to integrate reward communications into employer branding, underscoring the organization's commitment to employee wellbeing and satisfaction.
- Organize and promote 'Benefits Education Days', ‘Retirement Awareness Sessions,' and other similar events, to increase awareness, appreciation and utilization of Insulet’s benefits plans.
Education and Experience
- At least 5 year’s experience in Human Resources within public company environments operating and supporting Malaysia compensation and benefits programs, including salary management and benchmarking as well as some or all of: incentive compensation, job evaluation, employee benefit plans, expat mobility and HR policy writing.
- Manufacturing / Operations sector experience, or other similar experience supporting large hourly employee populations in 24/7 environment. This includes experience supporting direct labour / blue collar employees.
- Skill in handling employee queries and communication.
- Excellent English language skills; able to work /communicate across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently to solution complex reward issues and queries; and to coach, guide, mentor and collaborate with colleagues including non-Reward specialists.
- Resourceful and thrives in fast paced, nimble organization with ability to self-prioritize; demonstrates strong ability to forge relationships and understand new concepts quickly
- Experience with Workday or other HRIS platform
- Strong skills with MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- International compensation and benefits experience is advantageous, but not essential
- Experience with Aon-Radford, Mercer and WillisTowersWatson surveys and methodologies particularly desirable.
- Compensation, benefits, job evaluation and/or HR certifications desirable.
- Experience or qualifications in employee relations, employment law and/or payroll

Drive pay for performance philosophy through the execution of all compensation programs. Provide consulting support to HR & Business managers on Rewards matters Administer the annual rewards cycle (Merit, STI, LTI) for assigned markets and related communication, ensuring alignment with global framework and local needs. Conduct job evaluations using the global framework to ensure consistency and keep job architecture and have relevant documentation. Conduct market benchmarking using survey data, develop pay-ranges and ensure pay range competitiveness. Maintain and update internal compensation records and salary structures across assigned markets. Provide guidance to market HR partners and teams on offers, promotions, and Rewards programs interpretation. Contribute to the review and implementation of benefits programs by sharing market insights in line with global approach. Track external trends and provide input to help ensure total rewards offerings remain aligned with market practices. Assist with governance processes, including documentation, internal controls, and audit support related to compensation practices. Collaborate with broader global Rewards COE teams on compensation-related projects and systems improvements. Support HRBPs in developing training materials, communication and change management of compensation policies, programs, processes and recommendations. Support rewards capability building by sharing knowledge and conducting training sessions for Rewards related topics.

Lead and drive strategic priorities of Total Rewards & HR Operations including enhancing organizational efficiency, digitalizing work processes as well as planning, designing and implementing a comprehensive total rewards strategy, policies and programmes for the Company. Lead and develop a team to ensure the Company’s reward strategy is implemented effectively and within established budgets as well as in compliance with relevant regulations, laws and employment standards.
Responsibilities:
Total Rewards
- Drive Total Rewards processes including annual salary review and performance bonus planning, benefits renewal & management, budget exercises, new benefits development and vendor management
- Monitor, review, benchmark and update Total Rewards policies to ensure they are aligned to Company strategic priorities as well as external market trends
- Review compensation and benefits programs to ensure that they are current, competitive and in compliance with statutory requirements
- Drive automation and digitalization of Total Rewards processes
- Lead job evaluations and conduct salary benchmarking exercise to ensure competitiveness; conduct benefits cost and utilisation analysis to support recommendations
- Oversee Group insurance & medical outsourcing programmes and other health related benefits plans
- Responsible for global mobility, international assignment and expatriate management on statutory matters
- Lead Total Rewards projects and support in activities for which operational support is required eg collective agreement, statutory reportings, relevant audits/inspections
- Participate in Total Rewards networks and keep up with Total Rewards trends and evolutions in the FMCG industry
HR Operations
- Oversees the full spectrum of payroll and HR operations (including admin, records & canteen management) to ensure processes are executed accurately in a timely manner
- Lead the digitalisation, enhancement, and optimisation of HR systems and processes to drive operational efficiency and support strategic business goals
- Ensure compliance with all statutory bodies’ requirements
- Oversee the HR system’s administration and implementation
Identify payroll issues and challenges and provide sound recommendation - Continuous improvement on payroll and operational processes
- Coordinates with tax consultants on payroll related processes
- Interpret local legislative changes, assess local impact and propose solutions with consultation from the tax consultant
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline
- Minimum 10 years’ working experience in similar capacity, with experience in Total Rewards and multiple HR functions
- Experience in designing and/or implementing HR programs within a large business unit
- Experience in a fast paced and complex environment
- Ability to manage operational processes and be a strategic partner to the Total Rewards business partner at the same time
- Customer service centric, good consultancy skills with demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels in the organization.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities utilizing strong organizational skills.

The Total Rewards and Performance Senior Specialist is responsible for managing and contributing to the design, implementation, and administration of the total rewards programs and company's performance management processes. Total Rewards
- Contribute to the development, review, and execution of the total rewards strategy and programs (covering compensation, benefits, insurance, recognition, and wellness).
- Manage budgeting and forecasting for monthly employee resource costs, including Annual Operating Plan and Long-Range Plan.
- Lead and manage the annual salary review design and process, including conducting market analysis, assessing internal equity, and developing recommendations for salary adjustments and promotions.
- Lead, manage the administration of incentive programs, such as performance bonuses design and proposal, Long-Term Incentive Plans, and sales incentive plans.
- Oversee incentive payouts, collaborating with stakeholders and planning units to ensure alignment with program principles and details.
- Conduct complex job evaluations, market research, and compensation benchmarking to determine competitive compensation levels and structures.
- Provide expert guidance, advice, and support to managers and employees on total rewards programs, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, Payroll, People Services, Business) to ensure accuracy and integrity of employee cost allocation and reporting.
- Partner closely with HRIT to ensure the smooth execution and system support for rewards and performance activities.
- Review, develop, update, and maintain total rewards and performance policies, ensuring alignment with current business needs and relevant employment legislation.
- Lead and manage internal and external audits.
- Prepare and analyze annual and ad-hoc reports on employee costs and total rewards data for management and compliance purposes.
- Lead the end-to-end performance management cycle, including goal setting, performance reviews, calibration sessions, mid-year check-ins, and Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), audits.
- Drive enhancements to the performance management process and related systems.
- Develop and update performance management policies, guidelines, FAQs, and training materials.
- Deliver training and workshops on performance management topics.
- Manage system configuration and setup for performance management processes.
- Provide expert guidance and support to business leaders and managers on performance discussions and outcomes.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, responding to complex employee and manager inquiries and issues regarding performance processes and policies.

**Role Overview:** The Total Rewards Associate Director is responsible for developing and managing a comprehensive Total Rewards framework that attracts, motivates, and retains employees in the SEA and ANZ markets. Reporting to the Director Total Rewards, Greater Asia, this role includes overseeing Compensation & Benefits, Global Mobility, and ensuring compliance with local market practices, business drivers, culture, and cost considerations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Develop and implement competitive compensation and benefits programs tailored to the SEA and ANZ markets.
+ Conduct regular market analysis to ensure compensation and benefits packages are aligned with industry standards, local regulations and BD''s rewards philosophy.
+ Collaborate with HR and business leaders to design sales incentive programs that drive business performance.
+ Implement programs that promote work-life balance and support employees' overall well-being.
+ Ensure all Total Rewards programs comply with local labor laws and regulations.

**Qualifications:**
