Job Description

  • The Contractor - Third Party Risk Assessment Analyst will be responsible for evaluating the security and compliance posture of third-party vendors and partners. This role involves identifying potential risks, assessing mitigation measures, and ensuring that third-party relationships align with FWD's security policies and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of third-party vendors and partners.
  • Evaluate vendors' security policies, procedures, and controls to ensure they meet FWD's standards.
  • Identify potential risks associated with third-party relationships and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information and ensure a thorough assessment process.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of third-party risk assessments and findings.
  • Provide detailed reports and risk ratings for third-party vendors.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of third-party risk management policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and track remediation efforts by third parties to address identified risks.
  • Stay current with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging threats related to third-party risk management.
Required Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3 or more years of experience in third-party risk assessment, vendor management, or a related area.
  • Strong understanding of information security principles, risk management frameworks, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, PCI-DSS).
  • Experience with risk assessment methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC) are a plus.

This role focuses on managing data centre outsourcing and oversee third-party risk compliance in ensuring that external data centre services providers deliver secure, reliable, and cost-effective infrastructure services in line with business needs and regulatory requirements. You will be the bridge between our organisation and data centre vendors, ensuring contractual obligations, service levels, and risk controls are met at all times.

  • Oversee daily activities of outsourced data centre vendors, ensuring smooth operations and adhere to SLAs, KPIs, and contractual terms.
  • Perform TPRM processes, including vendor due diligence, risk assessments, periodic reviews, and remediation follow-ups.
  • Coordinate and track planned maintenance, change requests, incident response, and recovery activities.
  • Monitoring data centre capacity, environmental conditions, and operational performance metrics.
  • Verify vendor compliance with security policies, safety regulations, and industry standards such as Risk Management in Technology (RITM), Threat, Vulnerability, and Risk Assessment (TVRA), Uptime Institute, PCI-DC, etc.
  • Participate in vendor site visits, audits, and operational inspections.
  • Prepare regular performance and risk reports for management review.
  • Liaise with internal teams (IT, compliance, procurement, etc) to address vendor-related risks or issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for vendor contracts, performance records, and risk assessments.

We are looking for people who

  • Possesses a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or Diploma with Professional Certifications in related field.
  • At least 8 years relevant experience in data centre facilities, vendor outsourcing review, contract management and IT infrastructure risk management.
  • Familiarity with TPRM frameworks, vendor due diligence, and risk assessment processes.
  • Hands-on knowledge of data centre facilities processes and best practices.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • Good communication skills for effective coordination with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to respond quickly to operational or compliance issues.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented professional to manage day-to-day outsourced data centre facilities operations and active role in Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) activities.
  • This is a hands-on role that involves coordinating closely with external service providers, ensuring compliance with operational, security, and risk requirements to maintain high standards of service, resilience, and risk control.

This role focuses on managing data centre outsourcing and oversee third-party risk compliance in ensuring that external data centre services providers deliver secure, reliable, and cost-effective infrastructure services in line with business needs and regulatory requirements. You will be the bridge between our organisation and data centre vendors, ensuring contractual obligations, service levels, and risk controls are met at all times. Oversee daily activities of outsourced data centre vendors, ensuring smooth operations and adhere to SLAs, KPIs, and contractual terms. Perform TPRM processes, including vendor due diligence, risk assessments, periodic reviews, and remediation follow-ups. Coordinate and track planned maintenance, change requests, incident response, and recovery activities. Monitoring data centre capacity, environmental conditions, and operational performance metrics. Verify vendor compliance with security policies, safety regulations, and industry standards such as Risk Management in Technology (RITM), Threat, Vulnerability, and Risk Assessment (TVRA), Uptime Institute, PCI-DC, etc. Participate in vendor site visits, audits, and operational inspections. Prepare regular performance and risk reports for management review. Liaise with internal teams (IT, compliance, procurement, etc) to address vendor-related risks or issues promptly. Maintain accurate documentation for vendor contracts, performance records, and risk assessments. We are looking for people who Possesses a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or Diploma with Professional Certifications in related field. At least 8 years relevant experience in data centre facilities, vendor outsourcing review, contract management and IT infrastructure risk management. Familiarity with TPRM frameworks, vendor due diligence, and risk assessment processes. Hands-on knowledge of data centre facilities processes and best practices. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to work independently. Good communication skills for effective coordination with vendors and internal stakeholders. Ability to respond quickly to operational or compliance issues. Proactive and detail-oriented professional to manage day-to-day outsourced data centre facilities operations and active role in Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) activities. This is a hands-on role that involves coordinating closely with external service providers, ensuring compliance with operational, security, and risk requirements to maintain high standards of service, resilience, and risk control. Key Responsibilities

Strategy
• The main responsibilities will be to support the Head of Third Party Security Risk in delivering the third party security risk program within the Bank.
Business.

Business
• Perform cybersecurity risk assessments on third-party vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
• Lead due diligence assessments, security reviews, and continuous vendor risk monitoring.
• Evaluate vendor responses to security questionnaires, attestations, and evidence artifacts.
• Assess vendors' cybersecurity posture against standards like ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, and best practices.
• Analyse third-party cloud security controls, data protection measures, and threat management capabilities.
• Document findings, provide risk ratings, remediation recommendations, and track actions to closure.
• Partner with CISO, procurement, and business teams on vendor onboarding and contract renewals.
• Continuously evolve and optimize third-party risk assessment methodologies and frameworks.
• Leverage AI/ML tools and data analytics to enhance risk detection and predictive assessments.
• Stay informed on the latest cybersecurity trends, threat intelligence, and regulatory developments.
• Support audits, regulatory reviews, and compliance assessments related to third-party risk.
• Communicate risk insights and reporting to executive leadership and stakeholders.

Processes
• Diligently provide weekly and ad hoc reporting on status of reviews.
• Support any training and awareness initiatives relating to third party security risk.
• Support and assist in third party program improvement initiatives.
• Assist in the development of new/amended processes, innovative ways of working and reviewing risk and control assessments.
• Assist in the forward planning and prioritisation of vendor assessments or requests from business stakeholders, and resource allocations

People & Talent
• Manage a register of third party security risks and ensure that deficiencies are mitigated
• Support any training and awareness initiatives relating to third party security risk.

Risk Management
• Maintain a register of third party security risks and ensure that deficiencies are mitigated.
• Support the Head of TPSR to ensure compliance with relevant regulations covering third party security risk.
• Monitor and report on third party security risk compliance to stakeholders.
• Remain current on industry trends and regulatory requirements related to third party information security.

Governance
• Diligently provide weekly and ad hoc reporting on status of reviews.

Regulatory & Business Conduct
• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct.
• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
• Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association (or equivalent)

Skills and Experience
• Bachelor degree or above from an accredited college/university in an appropriate field.
• Ideally 3 years of experience in information security / IT auditing, with Big 4 and/or Banking & Financial services experience
• Experience in third party audits is a plus, but understanding of auditing standards, compliance, risk assessment and internal control frameworks is a requirement.
• Familiarity with working in a MNC or cross-cultural setting.
• Excellent written and interpersonal skills.
• Strong time management skills.
• Ability to draft reports that clearly communicate observations and risks would be required.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, and ability to interact at all levels across an organisation.
• Strong audit project organisation and management skills.
• Ability to multitask and ensure that all key priorities are delivered as per agreed timelines.
• Preferable certifications (e.g. CISSP, CCSP, CISA)
• Knowledge of security frameworks (e.g. COBIT, ISF, COSO), standards (e.g. ISO, NIST, CIS), information security principles, security architecture and regulatory requirements will be a plus.
• Competency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, SharePoint).

  • Finance and Treasury Management: Assist in the analysis and valuation of treasury assets and liabilities, support internal and external stakeholders for hedge accounting advisory/review services and including
