Senior Software Engineer (Testing Automation)

Job Responsibilities: Identify and implement appropriate test automation tools, frameworks and technologies within organization Collaborate with software analysis team to understand test requirements and translate to automated test cases Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using appropriate and up-to-date automation testing tools and programming languages Participate in project planning and estimation activities to ensure that testing activities are properly scoped and resourced. Automation Senior Tester is a professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

• Required: Minimum 5-8 years of relevant industry & work experience with minimum 2 years testing experience capacity is preferable. SDLC knowledge/experience is must. AML/Compliance knowledge is must and MANTAS product knowledge is preferable. Candidate with Citibank experience is preferable.
• Required: Comprehensive knowledge of Technology, Product Processor, Compliance, AML policy, financial services, investment & retail banking products / services – back and middle office operations
• Required: Strong project management skills
• Required: Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
• Required: Demonstrated initiative and creativity in problem solving

• Develop, document, and execute regression, functional, and integration tests across various data-centric enterprise applications
• Develop and document test plans, test cases, sql scripts, and assist in automation scripts based on user requirements, condition data (as required); primarily responsible for working with large volume of data validations using complex sql scripts

Automation Senior Tester is a professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Assist Regional Automation Lead/ UAT Manager for the Project Analyst function with Citi Anti-Money Laundering Operations. Supporting the implementation and ongoing operation of globally/ regional consistent project analysis, control processes, including data quality testing. Coordinate, deliver expertise, design and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in accordance to Global Testing Services (GTS) process and procedure and ensure that all process, systems implementations and upgrades, changes, fixes are robustly tested and any issues and defects are resolved ahead of production release.

**As a successful candidate, you'd ideally have the following skills and exposure:**
+ Required: Minimum 5-8 years of relevant industry & work experience with minimum 2 years testing experience capacity is preferable. SDLC knowledge/experience is must. AML/Compliance knowledge is must and MANTAS product knowledge is preferable. Candidate with Citibank experience is preferable.
+ Required: Comprehensive knowledge of Technology, Product Processor, Compliance, AML policy, financial services, investment & retail banking products / services - back and middle office operations
+ Required: Strong project management skills

• Analyzes and interprets test data and prepares technical reports for use by electronic or software engineering, and management personnel.
• May develops or use computer software and hardware to conduct tests on electronic products and systems or software.
• Trains and instructs floor support, test technicians and test operators on test hardware and/or software, as well as problem solving techniques.
• Resolves test yield problems by performing analysis of root causes, developing and coordinating corrective action measures and monitoring improvements.
• Perform and support equipment verification and integration in production.
• Create and maintain process documentation.
• Actively search for new technologies or procedures in the test sector.
• Determines conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations.

What a typical day looks like:

• Directs and/or coordinates electronic engineering and/or technical personnel in fabrication and design of testing and test control apparatus and equipment, or software and systems testing.
• Directs and coordinates electronic engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation and calibration of instruments, equipment and control devices required to test, and record test data.
• Interfaces and confers with scientific, engineering and technical personnel to resolve testing problems such as product or system malfunctions, incomplete test data, data interpretation or coding issues.
• Analyzes and interprets test data and prepares technical reports for use by electronic or software engineering, and management personnel.
• May develops or use computer software and hardware to conduct tests on electronic products and systems or software.
• Trains and instructs floor support, test technicians and test operators on test hardware and/or software, as well as problem solving techniques.
• Resolves test yield problems by performing analysis of root causes, developing and coordinating corrective action measures and monitoring improvements.
• Perform and support equipment verification and integration in production.
• Create and maintain process documentation.
• Actively search for new technologies or procedures in the test sector.
• Determines conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations.

Specialized Job Responsibilities may be required for certain positions. These could include one or more of the following duties:

IN-CIRCUIT

• Develops and/or supports quality comprehensive test programs.
• Develops or modifies test models.
• Performs written analysis of fault grade.
• Develops quotes for test development and enhancements.
• Performs test ability analysis (DFT).
• Performs mechanical analysis of test fixtures.
• Coordinates 3rd part development of in-circuit programs, enhancements, and test fixtures.

FUNCTIONAL

• Develops and/or modifies test programs using various languages (i.e. Python, Lab View, Perl etc.).
• Develops instrument drivers.
• Develops and/or supports diagnostic tests at the card edge level.
• Designs and supports functional test hardware, computer platforms and interfaces.
• Develops test plans and procedures.
• Coordinates 3rd party development of functional test development, enhancements, test fixtures.
• Develops quotations for functional test hardware and software.

ENVIRONMENTAL STRESS SCREENING (ESS)

• Designs, develops and/or supports environmental test programs, procedures and profiles
• Designs and/or supports mechanical/electrical interfaces for product tests.
• Performs failure analysis on environmental test failures.
• Coordinates 3rd party development of ESS activities.

SYSTEMS & Software

• Analyzes and interprets software or system level diagnostic failure (software and hardware).
• Develops and/or modifies software or system level plans and tests.

• Develops and/or supports quality comprehensive test programs.
• Develops quotes for test development and enhancements.
• Performs test ability analysis (DFT).

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience and training.
• Typically requires 4 years of experience in test engineering in the high technology electronics industry or related area.

From test software and hardware development, product debugging and test optimization – you help ensure our products are consistently competitive and leading in the market. In each of these roles you'll dive deeper into manufacturing, quality, design verification or validation engineering.

In this role, you'll support the development and implementation of strategies that achieve profitability targets on assigned TI product lines through new product development, cost reduction, capacity expansion and yield enhancement projects. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for all operational aspects related to your assigned product portfolio, resolve customer quality and application issues, and facilitates cross-functional teams for problem solving. Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Physics or related field
• CGPA 3.0 and above
• Fresh graduates to less than 2 years of relevant working experience.

Preferred qualifications

• Basic understanding of schematics, layouts and digital components
• Knowledge and understanding of analog circuitry (examples include: op-amps, DC/DC power, data converters, sensing, etc.)
• Proficient in programming skills in C/C++/Phyton
