  • Execute manual tests on our web application to uncover bugs, inconsistencies, and usability issues.
  • Create, maintain, and execute test cases based on product requirements and user workflows.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs in collaboration with the development team.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure existing features stay solid after updates.
  • Work closely with developers, designers, and PM to improve quality and user experience.
  • Provide feedback on usability and suggest improvements.
  • Learn writing and implementing automated test scripts for more efficient quality assurance.

HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • 1+ years of experience in manual testing for web applications.
  • Great attention to detail - you spot issues others might miss.
  • Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., ClickUp, Jam, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and how users interact with interfaces.
  • Strong communication skills—you know how to report bugs effectively.
  • Familiarity with API testing and writing SQL queries.
  • Bonus point if you have experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Postman, etc.).

As a product, test and validation engineer, you play a vital role in assuring the quality and performance of TI's innovative IC products.

From test software and hardware development, product debugging and test optimization – you help ensure our products are consistently competitive and leading in the market. In each of these roles you'll dive deeper into manufacturing, quality, design verification or validation engineering.

In this role, you'll support the development and implementation of strategies that achieve profitability targets on assigned TI product lines through new product development, cost reduction, capacity expansion and yield enhancement projects. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for all operational aspects related to your assigned product portfolio, resolve customer quality and application issues, and facilitates cross-functional teams for problem solving. You'll also take a leadership role to establish relationships with key contacts in TI wafer fabrication and assembly manufacturing sites to ensure strong communication and effective problem solving.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Physics or related field
  • CGPA 3.0 and above
  • Fresh graduates to less than 2 years of relevant working experience.

Preferred qualifications

  • Basic understanding of schematics, layouts and digital components
  • Knowledge and understanding of analog circuitry (examples include: op-amps, DC/DC power, data converters, sensing, etc.)
  • Proficient in programming skills in C/C++/Phyton
  • Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externally
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
  • Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
  • Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery

Responsibilities

  1. As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for developing production manufacturing test strategies to ensure products are tested according to specifications.
  2. Support production activities related to test yield improvement, test time reduction, and other efficiencies.
  3. Assist with New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including:
    1. Knowledge transfer from R&D.
    2. Calibration and functional test development and qualification.
    3. Manufacturing tester to tester Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility (GR&R) correlation.
  4. Develop test suites that meet manufacturing and quality goals using available test systems.
  5. Support production testing to improve downtime and optimize capacity through tester upgrades, standardization, preventive maintenance, and trending analysis.
  6. Perform equipment Out of Tolerance (OOT) analysis with root cause analysis (RCA), corrective actions (CA), and continuous improvement initiatives.
  7. Restore tester issues with minimal impact on Assurance of Supply (AOS).
  8. Provide support for test transfer qualification and line sustaining in outsourced environments.
  9. Ensure test system and product compliance with ISO standards, including traceability and necessary upgrades.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's or university degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronics, Telecommunications, or related fields.
  2. Proficiency in English.
  3. Strong data analysis skills.
  4. Excellent communication skills.
  5. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  6. Quick learner of new technologies.
  7. Proactive attitude with a customer-first mindset.
