Job Requirement

• Define comprehensive test strategies for high-speed cables.
• Lead development of test fixtures, programs, and procedures for electrical (e.g., impedance, insertion loss, crosstalk) and mechanical (e.g., pull force, bend, twist) validation.
• Work with product and design engineering to develop test requirements during early design stages (DFT/DFM).

Compliance & Validation Testing

• Oversee validation testing against industry standards: USB-IF, HDMI Forum, Ethernet IEEE 802.3, UL, CE, RoHS/REACH.
• Manage signal integrity testing using Vector Network Analyzers (VNA), TDRs, eye diagram analyzers, and BER testers.
• Ensure first article, PPAP, and customer-specific qualification processes are completed on time.

Test Automation & Infrastructure

• Implement automated test systems for in-line or end-of-line testing in production.
• Maintain and upgrade test equipment calibration, system integration, and traceability.
• Evaluate and introduce new test tools, measurement systems, and lab automation solutions.
• Lead and mentor a team of test engineers and technicians across product and production test functions.
• Drive team capability development in signal integrity, high-speed testing, and data analysis.
• Enforce safety, quality, and ESD compliance within lab and test areas.
• Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action (CAPA) for test failures and customer returns.
• Monitor test yield, false failure rates, and downtime to optimize test processes.
• Support customer audits and technical discussions related to product testing.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Signal integrity or RF/microwave coursework or certification is preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in electrical or test engineering, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role .
• Proven background in high-speed cable or interconnect test development and validation.
• Proficient with lab instruments: VNA, TDR, BER testers, LCR meters, high-speed oscilloscopes.
• Strong understanding of high-frequency transmission lines and signal integrity principles.
• Familiarity with USB-IF, HDMI CTS, Ethernet (Cat 6/7/8), DisplayPort, or RF compliance test methods.
• Experience in LabVIEW, Python, or similar for test automation.
• Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
• Proficient in SPC, GR&R, DOE, and test data analytics.

Position Details:

• Lead the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of critical assembly and automation systems, processes, and fixtures for new and existing RF and power products.
• Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, and Product engineers to identify and resolve product and test yield and performance issues.
• Coordinate the transfer of NPI products and legacy high-volume production processes into international and/or regional production facilities across MKS global footprint.
• Proactively launch LEAN manufacturing-related projects aimed at enhancing efficiency, quality, safety, and cost savings thru use of 6S, Kaizen Events, Value Stream Mapping, 8 Wastes and other lean methodologies.
• Support the development and deployment of automation technologies to increase production capacity and enhance product quality.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and developing a Lean Manufacturing culture throughout the manufacturing, assembly, calibration, and test operations.
• Interact with site leadership, key customers, and/or peer department managers as needed on business process development and problem solving.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in (IE/ME/EE) with 7+ years of Manufacturing/Test Engineering experience.
• Excellent in communicating in English, both written and verbal. Ability to communicate effectively with international counterparts on a regular basis.
• Experience in leading and managing test teams.
• 5+ years of experience leading teams involving project management, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement.
• Experienced in PCBA troubleshooting for Analog/Digital/ and RF boards.
• Experienced in Production Test Operations for SMT, AOI, 5DX, ICT, Subassembly testing and product level testing.
• Select, develop, and grow an advanced test engineering team to engage and support the operations teams in their LEAN manufacturing & continuous Improvement journeys.

Job Description

As a Staff Test Process Engineer , you will take ownership and provide leadership in the Known Good Die (KGD) Process and Burn In (BI) Test Process . You will lead cross-functional projects to improve test process robustness, scalability, and efficiency, while supporting execution and resolving manufacturing issues. Your role will focus on driving continuous improvement initiatives , deploying systematic methodologies and tools, and ensuring best-in-class standards are applied in semiconductor testing.

• Lead KGD and BI test process improvement projects, ensuring timely and successful execution.
• Oversee and enhance wafer sorting, wafer level testing, and burn in test processes to ensure yield, quality, and reliability.
• Partner with cross functional team to scope, plan, design, and sustain test processes.
• Support and troubleshoot manufacturing test process issues; propose and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives by working closely with multiple departments.
• Develop, document, and maintain test cases, test plans, and process documentation (WI, SOP, Control Plans).
• Define clear goals and success criteria for process tests; establish systematic steps for execution.
• Apply structured problem-solving methodologies (FMEA, 8D, root-cause analysis) to improve test yield, reliability, and efficiency.
• Provide technical coaching and mentoring to junior engineers and technicians to enhance team capabilities.
• Ensure high engineering standards, compliance, and quality throughout all KGD and BI processes.

REQUIRED:

• Proven track record of leading projects and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor test processes, equipment, and methodologies.
• Familiarity with Work Instructions (WI), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Control Plans, FMEA, 8D problem-solving, and quality systems.
