Job Description- Responsible for executing test plans/scenarios/develop scripts for communication devices for the professional and mission-critical markets in the commercial, government and industrial segments per specifications.
- Possess a good understanding of the various software lifecycle
- Create new dynamic API/method calls for re-usability in multiple test scripts.
- Coordinate and participate in test idea design and script review
- Perform necessary analysis required for the project, identify and solve complex technical problems requiring proper evaluation and analysis as well as make decisions that positively impact the project.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or any related field.
- Able to write and test code using Java, XML, Python, or similar programming languages.
- Able to troubleshoot and creatively resolve execution failures.

Position Details:
- Lead the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of critical assembly and automation systems, processes, and fixtures for new and existing RF and power products.

As a Staff Test Process Engineer , you will take ownership and provide leadership in the Known Good Die (KGD) Process and Burn In (BI) Test Process . You will lead cross-functional projects to improve test process robustness, scalability, and efficiency, while supporting execution and resolving manufacturing issues. Your role will focus on driving continuous improvement initiatives , deploying systematic methodologies and tools, and ensuring best-in-class standards are applied in semiconductor testing.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Lead KGD and BI test process improvement projects, ensuring timely and successful execution.
- Oversee and enhance wafer sorting, wafer level testing, and burn in test processes to ensure yield, quality, and reliability.
- Partner with cross functional team to scope, plan, design, and sustain test processes.
- Support and troubleshoot manufacturing test process issues; propose and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives by working closely with multiple departments.
- Develop, document, and maintain test cases, test plans, and process documentation (WI, SOP, Control Plans).
- Define clear goals and success criteria for process tests; establish systematic steps for execution.
- Apply structured problem-solving methodologies (FMEA, 8D, root-cause analysis) to improve test yield, reliability, and efficiency.

- Ensure high engineering standards, compliance, and quality throughout all KGD and BI processes.
- Leverage analytical tools and data-driven approaches to improve test systems and methodologies.
- Identify potential risks, implement monitoring systems, and ensure proactive quality control.
- Collaborate in new product introduction (NPI) to ensure smooth transition from development to high-volume manufacturing.
- Collaborate with cross-site teams to drive standardization and best-practice sharing.
- Accountable for reducing cost through process optimization, hardware efficiency, or automation improvements.
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Science, or related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in semiconductor test process engineering, with focus on Burn In test, wafer sorting, and wafer level testing.
- Proven track record of leading projects and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor test processes, equipment, and methodologies.
- Familiarity with Work Instructions (WI), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Control Plans, FMEA, 8D problem-solving, and quality systems.
- Demonstrated ability to document, analyze, and improve testing processes systematically.
- Proficiency with analytical tools and data-driven problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to engage across engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.
Preferred
- Experience with AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) in semiconductor testing.
- Hands-on knowledge of programming/scripting languages (ASP.NET C#, Java, Python) for test automation or data analysis.
- Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC), OEE tracking, and yield management systems.
- Experience in NPI ramp-up and technology transfer.
- Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
- Ability to mentor and develop junior engineers in a structured way.
- Experience in SQL or big data analytics for handling large-scale test datasets.
- Familiarity with IATF 16949 standards for automotive product requirements.
