Test Engineer

Requirements
- At least 3 years' experience in software engineering with C# or Java.
- Experience in test automation and continuous integration systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with SQL or similar database technologies.
- Strong grasp of Windows, computer architecture, and network environments.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking ability.
- Highly self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks.
- Proactive communicator and effective collaborator.
- A passion for gaming and interest in the games industry.

Job Description
- Perform maintenance according to the maintenance plan on machines and calibration (Tester).
- Analyze downtime reasons of equipment; perform mechanical, electrical, and electronic repairs; release equipment according to engineering specifications.
- Localize failures on measurement boards and PCBs; repair boards.
- Prepare daily overviews on BIN topics.
- Autonomously adapt and extend circuit diagrams as per engineering specifications.
- Collaborate with equipment engineers to develop measures to reduce failures, improve quality and output, and reduce costs with process and equipment engineering.
- Analyze failures on carriers.
- Coordinate all changes with lead plant engineering.
- Take 8D responsibility and manage lot disposals.
- Instruct operators in coordination with Production Management.
- Support production activities.
- Assist in FMEA and Control Plan development.
- Ensure spare parts availability.
- Perform any other related duties assigned by immediate supervisor.
Qualifications
- More than 5 years of experience in the field.

Responsibilities
- As Test Engineer, your will be responsible for production manufacturing test strategies. Ensure the product is tested in accordance with the committed specifications.
- Support production activities in regard to test yield, test time reduction and etc.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities such as:
- Receive the knowledge transfer from R&D.
- Calibration and functional test development and qualification.
- Manufacturing tester to tester Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility (GR&R) correlation
- Develop a suite of test that must conform to manufacturing and quality goals using the test system provided.
- Production test support to regularly improve downtime and optimize capacity via tester upgrade and standardization, PM and test equipment trending analysis.
- Perform equipment OOT (Out of Tolerance) analysis with RCA, CA and improvement initiatives.
- Restore tester down issue at minimum impact to AOS (Assurance of Supply).
- Provide outsource support on test transfer qualification and transfer line sustaining.
- Ensure test system and product compliance to ISO standards with traceability and upgrades upon needs.
- Bachelors or University Degree or equivalent in Electrical / Electronics, Telecommunications, or similar discipline.
- Proficiency in English
- Strong data analysis skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to function effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies
- Good attitude on proactive approach and customer first mindset.
- Experience with model programming languages such as Python, C++ and C#.
- Knowledge and experience in using oscilloscope, network analyzer, signal analyzer & signal generator
- Knowledge on test calibration standards and applications will be added advantages.
- Typically 2-4 years relevant experience for entry to this level.

- Directs and/or coordinates electronic engineering and/or technical personnel in fabrication and design of testing and test control apparatus and equipment, or software and systems testing.
- Directs and coordinates electronic engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation and calibration of instruments, equipment and control devices required to test, and record test data.
- Interfaces and confers with scientific, engineering and technical personnel to resolve testing problems such as product or system malfunctions, incomplete test data, data interpretation or coding issues.
- Analyzes and interprets test data and prepares technical reports for use by electronic or software engineering, and management personnel.
- May develops or use computer software and hardware to conduct tests on electronic products and systems or software.
- Trains and instructs floor support, test technicians and test operators on test hardware and/or software, as well as problem solving techniques.
- Resolves test yield problems by performing analysis of root causes, developing and coordinating corrective action measures and monitoring improvements.
- Perform and support equipment verification and integration in production.
- Create and maintain process documentation.
- Actively search for new technologies or procedures in the test sector.
- Determines conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations.
IN-CIRCUIT
- Develops and/or supports quality comprehensive test programs.
- Develops or modifies test models.
- Performs written analysis of fault grade.
- Develops quotes for test development and enhancements.
- Performs test ability analysis (DFT).
- Performs mechanical analysis of test fixtures.
- Coordinates 3rd part development of in-circuit programs, enhancements, and test fixtures.
- Develops and/or modifies test programs using various languages (i.e. Python, Lab View, Perl etc.).
- Develops instrument drivers.

- Develops test plans and procedures.
- Coordinates 3rd party development of functional test development, enhancements, test fixtures.

- Designs, develops and/or supports environmental test programs, procedures and profiles
- Designs and/or supports mechanical/electrical interfaces for product tests.
- Performs failure analysis on environmental test failures.
- Coordinates 3rd party development of ESS activities.
- Analyzes and interprets software or system level diagnostic failure (software and hardware).
- Develops and/or modifies software or system level plans and tests.
- Develops and/or supports quality comprehensive test programs.

Main Responsibilities
- Perform automation testing activities, such as:
- Code automated test for Web applications
- Code automated test for API
- Build automated testing framework
- Setup and configure a continuous testing process
- Ensure the quality of testing for all delivered developments and upgrades
- Liaise closely with all relevant parties to fully understand the functionality to be tested
- Provide accurate estimates for all work as required
- Provide sufficient detail to development to facilitate the optimal resolution of bugs and provide any further assistance required
- Effective prioritization and meeting of deadlines
- Continuous improvement mindset to drive for more automation
- Bachelor's or master degree in information technology and/or other demonstrated learning path (eg. Bootcamp) can be accepted.
- Certification (ITIL is a +)
- Proven experience as a QA Automated Tester or similar role.
- Knowledge in Gherkin/Cucumber and as well Selenium
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java (preferably) or optionally Angular/Cobol.
- Understanding of automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Experience with performance and load testing tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team and to interact with other (developers, business teams)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration tools.

Responsibilities:
Independently develop ERP system test plans and solutions, organize and review test requirements, and design, write, and execute test cases.
Conduct functional testing, interface testing, stability testing, performance testing, security testing, and compatibility testing for software products.
Maintain data related to automated testing tools and scripts, and use automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Robot Framework, Appium) to improve testing efficiency.
Familiar with performance testing, proficient in using JMeter, and understand its working principles and implementation methods.
Proficient in interface testing methods and commonly used tools. Analyze, report, and track issues identified during testing to ensure timely and reasonable resolution.
Summarize and analyze test results to provide data support for product release decisions. Familiar with the development process and testing procedures of medium and large-scale software projects, with experience in Agile development environments.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Communications, Electronics, or related fields.
Location: Living in Malaysia for a long time.
Experience: 1+ years of experience in software testing or automated test script.
Technical Skills:
Familiar with software testing methods, tools, and processes, with experience in test case design.
Proficient in interface testing and automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Robot Framework, Appium, Postman, JMeter).
Proficient in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or JavaScript) with basic database knowledge.
Personal Skills:
Able to work independently, adept at summarizing, and possess strong documentation skills.
Strong observation and analytical skills, with hands-on capabilities and a proactive approach to technical research.
Communication Skills:
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Fluent in written and spoken English, can spoke Mandarin. (required for cross-border team collaboration).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) is a plus. Experience with Enterprise application system or ERP system testing. Able to work well under pressure.
