Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain a robust automated testing framework.

Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.

Collaborate with development teams to ensure testability of features and implement test-driven development practices.

Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins.

Integrate automated tests with project management tools like JIRA and Zephyr.

Generate and analyze test metrics to continually improve the testing process and product quality.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, master’s degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

4+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 1 years focused on test automation.

Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit).

Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#).

Experience with Jenkins/JIRA/Zephyr.

Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environment.

Role Title: Test Analyst

Role Overview

• Proven Track record as an outstanding test analyst with end-to-end testing experience. Capable to define the Test Strategy & Test Plan document, to design the test cases and prepare the testers for UAT.
• Understand application business area and application requirements, specifically in the banking environment.
• Experience in managing user acceptance testing (UAT) in both in an Agile and Waterfall delivery environment.
• Hands on experience in test planning, test execution, test management, defect tracking skill and test progress reporting including using a variety if test management tools
• Skilled Business Analyst with relevant experience in the coordination of SIT and UAT for multi phased project preferably using Agile practice.
• UAT management skills is more important than the Insurance domain knowledge.
  
  

Experience & Certification

• Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience
• Understand application business area and application requirements, specifically in wealth/cards environment. Experience in managing user acceptance testing (UAT) in both in an Agile and Waterfall delivery environment.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Unix, UAT Testing, SQL queries, Mantis, Data Migration
• ISTQB Certified tester, Foundation level (CTFL) work towards qualification.
• Candidate with experience in Banking domain OR (Insurance / Financial Services industry) is highly preferred.
• Fluency in Mandarin / Cantonese is a MUST

Ensure the delivery of high-quality data solutions by planning, coordinating, and executing testing activities across data platforms, pipelines, and reporting tools. Key Responsibilities:

1. Test Planning & Preparation

• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test suites.
• Define test criteria and assess regression testing scope.
• Write complex SQL queries for data validation, reconciliation, and integrity checks.
• Gather testing requirements from business users and analysts.
• Manage test artifacts using tools like JIRA (test cases, cycles, defects).
• Support test automation development and setup.
• Monitor progress of test script development.

2. Test Execution

• Conduct System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Execute manual and automated tests for data pipelines and reports.
• Validate ETL processes and data flow from source to target systems.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of BI reports and dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Resolve defects and coordinate retesting efforts.
• Generate test reports and document outcomes.

3. Test Coordination

• Collaborate with Data Engineers and SMEs to estimate and allocate testing resources.
• Coordinate end-to-end testing activities across teams.
• Provide training and support on test tools and processes.
• Communicate testing requirements and timelines to stakeholders.

4. Communication & Reporting

• Deliver testing progress updates and KPI reports.
• Advise stakeholders on testing strategies and improvements.
• Document and share lessons learned and best practices.

5. Process Improvement

• Analyze current testing processes and recommend enhancements.
• Stay updated on industry trends and testing methodologies.
• Contribute to automation and efficiency improvements.

6. Data Migration & Integration

• Participate in data migration and integration projects.
• Validate completeness, correctness, and consistency of migrated data.
• Identify testing risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong understanding of data concepts, relational databases, and data warehousing.
• Experience in ETL/Big Data testing and BI data validation.
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and validation.
• Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Experience in manual and automated testing methodologies.

Nice to have skills

• Experience with Azure Synapse, Oracle ERP, SAP, and BI platforms.
• Knowledge of ELT/Big Data automation testing.
• Understanding of Agile and DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• ISTQB or equivalent testing certification.
• Collaborate across departments and regions on diverse systems and platforms.
• Exposure to performance, usability, and accessibility testing.

Leading bank of Singapore is embarking on various e-commerce platforms integration projects and is looking for strong functional test engineers to work on integration testing.

Skills required:

1. 4-5 years of software testing experience

Regression Testing and Automation: - Conduct regression testing to validate ongoing changes and enhancements to the EDW system. - Automate test cases where applicable to improve efficiency and coverage. - Maintain and update automated test scripts as needed. Collaboration and Communication: - Work closely with data engineers, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and project timelines. - Communicate test progress, findings, and potential risks to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner. - Participate in meetings, reviews, and discussions related to EDW development and testing efforts. Continuous Improvement: - Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in testing practices. - Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to data warehousing and testing.

About The Role To perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) primarily for products and campaigns, with a secondary focus on system enhancements / projects / production incidents.Job Responsibilities

• Understand the test strategy & testing scope outline in test plan/script
• Execute end-to-end UAT based on Test Plan/Script
• Report UAT defects/errors in JIRA, or any other identified defect tracking application.
• Promptly perform retest of fixed defects/errors
• Update testing progress on testplan in daily basis
• Compile test plan, test results and supporting documents
• Add / Record the gaps that identified during UAT into a Master List
• Inform BA and relevant parties on completion of UAT
• Perform the tasks independently with minimal supervision
• Timely update of actual time spends of all works in eResource Scheduler.
• Expand skill set & knowledge across business functionality
• Conducting automation testing and automation test result verification
• Feedback to automation team on common scenarios, updated steps
• Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and/or other requirements

Job Requirements

• Education - Degree with minimum 2-3 years working experience in financial institution
• Communication - Good command of English in both written and oral
• Skills - L400, Sybase application
• Relevant test execution experience and knowledge in insurance processes
• Good business knowledge understanding
