Understanding of BGP, including types of BGP (eBGP & iBGP), BGP attributes, and their functions. Understanding of how BGP attributes work in path selection. Understanding of Route Reflector, its functions, and how it works. Understanding and ability to explain MPLS and its operation. Understanding of Layer 2 & Layer 3 services. Understanding of the differences between IS-IS and OSPF and how these protocols function. Understanding of Route Target, its functions, and how it works. What You Need To Succeed

Degree in Computer Engineering or related discipline. At least 2 years of experience in Project Engineering of Automation systems, instrumentation and control. Experience in heavy industry or complex manufacturing environment is an added advantage. Strong technical knowledge of heavy industrial control equipment; PLC or DCS, Closed Loop Control and Instrumentation Understands safety rated automation and hardware requirements, ensures systems are in place to maintain safety ratings Has experience of implementing quality management systems and enforcing safety and environmental regulations. Work closely with other IT teams, vendors, and business units to coordinate network-related activities and projects. Communicate network-related information to technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience as a Systems Engineer with a focus on network operations, preferably in the banking or financial services sector. In-depth knowledge of network protocols, technologies, and security best practices. Experience with network monitoring tools and diagnostic equipment. Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

As a

Senior Network and Security Engineer (Level 3/ SME),

you will be part of the Managed Network and Security Team, dedicated to improving our customers' environments through automation and optimization. Great customer experience success is measured by our customers' systems compliance and availability. You will: Provide third-level technical expertise and operational support for network and security service requests and issues. Be the final escalation point for technical knowledge and expertise. Lead workshops to identify trends and problems within customer environments. Develop new solutions to enhance our customer environments. Create permanent corrective fixes and deploy them following appropriate change processes. Document solutions and knowledge in Logicalis' knowledge management system. Mentor junior engineers to help develop their skills. Requirements Significant hands-on experience in LAN/WAN networks and optimization, including managing wireless devices, VOICE, and network security. Experience with Aruba, Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto, Fortinet security, and SD-WAN is a plus. An analytical and systematic approach to issue resolution, coupled with excellent relationship management skills. A strong passion and desire to develop and share knowledge.
