This is a techno-managerial position that is expected to provide Technical Leadership, Project Leadership and People Leadership to the IT Team. The successful candidate is a self-starter who can motivate, develop, manage employees and provide technical and project management leadership to the team. This role will be based out from Boeing Composites Malaysia, Bukit Kayu Hitam. We are looking for a candidates with:

Job Descriptions
- Define, develop and implement a department strategy, which contributes to the business strategic direction
- Provide leadership to the IT security specialist and team to initiate, define and facilitate the implementation of cybersecurity measures
- Deliver IT services in line with business requirements to internal customers and ensure Hardware/Software/Solution meet expectations
- Lead and manage the IT team with high expectations on delivering high quality services, maintaining stability of the IT systems and resolving daily issues
- Meet targeted RTO, RPO and MTD
- Procure and manage servers, networks and all other IT assets
- Ensure that disaster recovery plan, backup system and IT procedures for business continuity are in-placed, tested and any findings are rectified
- Develop department budget, track/monitor actuals and provide variance analysis or recovery plan
- Able to coach, provide ideas and transfer knowledge to team
- Excellent communication skills to engage with the stakeholders and the wider Boeing team
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Computer Engineering or equivalent
- More than 10 years of experience in IT industry, preferably in an MNC environment
- More than 5 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role; leading team, initiatives or project to meet business objectives, managing scope, budget and deliverables
- Knowledge of ERP system (InforSyteline) and cybersecurity or information system security
- Knowledge on other programming languages such Java, Python, JavaScript, MS SQL, Visual Studio 2008 and VB6 would be an added advantage

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

He/she is responsible for project managing application related projects. Application projects will include systems such as CRM/Billing, Web Application, Call Centre systems, Reporting and Business Intelligence. He/she may need to manage infrastructure related projects will include systems, security and networks/telco projects as and when required.
- He/she will assist PMO Manager in terms of developing and enhancing project guidelines, planning, scheduling, estimating, costing and risk assessment.
- He/she must take into consideration the impact of IT Delivery for various portions of IT such as Systems, Security, Operations and Support. He/she will have the responsibility to manage the SIT Test Manager and Business Team for UAT to ensure that projects have considered all IT requirements related to the above mentioned areas have been delivered.
- Project Managers should be aware and drive Solution Architects / Business Analysts to adhere to the IT Enterprise Architecture and IT Security Policies put forth by the IT Strategy and Systems team in a project.
- He/she must manage demand for Change Requests within a particular project from business and IT. The person must manage projects priority based on the business needs and resource availability.
- He/she will assist PMO Manager and Head of IT Delivery in enhancement of the Project Management methodology / guideline and competency for ITD .
- He/she is responsible to determine IT project timeline intra-dependencies, for example in terms of resources and timelines of various projects.
- The Project Manager is responsible for managing project issues and resolution steps. He/she will be responsible to escalate project issues to PMO Manager, Head of IT Delivery and Project Steering Committee (if applicable for the project). PMO Manager will be responsible to work with the Project Manager to ensure closure of the escalated issue.
- He/she must be a people manager who is able to successfully influence and manage a project team that does not report to the functional manager directly. The PMO Manager must be able to have leadership qualities to provide detailed guidance to project managers and remains objective when a differing idea / proposal is being discussed by the team. He/she will be responsible for mentoring / coaching to the team members.
- He/she must be able to mediate conflicts across IT functional teams, projects, vendors to find a common agreement to conflict resolution.
- He/she will be responsible for performing Project Deliverable reviews as and when required to check on quality of deliverables. He/she will be responsible for instituting controls / governance into Projects such as through issue management, risk management and periodic status reports to Steering Committee and stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Computer Science or Engineering background (minimum level – degree) with at least 8 years of experience.
- Extensive experience in major application projects and their management through the entire software development life cycle.
- Applied knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
- Background in the development of project management policies, guidelines and practices.
- Strong understanding of scheduling standards, critical path methodology.
- In-depth knowledge of project management tools such as MS Project.
- Experience in the development of project management policies and practices.
- Experience in managing large application development projects.
- Experience with managing Broadcast Management System projects would be preferred.
- Certification by a recognised project management organisation. (eg PRINCE2)
- Demonstrated experience in delivering complex business support system solutions.
- CRM or Billing or SAP implementation experience.

- Facilitate regular meetings and status updates to keep stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams including data analysts, scientists, and IT professionals.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging creativity, innovation, and problem-solving.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring clarity on roles, responsibilities, and project objectives.
Data Analysis and Insights:
- Oversee the execution of data analytics activities, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and actionable insights.
- Collaborate with data analysts and scientists to interpret data, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations.
- Ensure adherence to data quality standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Project Monitoring and Reporting:
- Monitor project progress, track milestones, and report on key metrics and KPIs.
- Identify deviations from plan and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to management and stakeholders.
Skills and attributes for success
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in data analytics, business intelligence, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of data analytics methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is a plus.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Experience in engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Consulting experience and background, including engaging directly with clients
- Experience in a delivery role on Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Big Data or analytics projects

Join our dynamic Technology Strategy & Transformation (TST) team as we support high-impact digital transformation programmes across the Government sector. We are looking for passionate and driven professionals who thrive on designing strategies, driving change, and delivering technology-enabled transformation in the public sector.
As a Senior Associate or Manager, you will play a key role in the delivery of projects related to Digital Strategy, IT PMO, and Public Sector Transformation Initiatives . You will work alongside a high-performing team to support national digital agendas, shape transformation roadmaps, and ensure successful execution of large-scale initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct market and industry research to identify trends, benchmarks, and insights relevant to client's digital initiatives.
Assist in formulating digital strategies, transformation roadmaps, and investment cases aligned to client goals and national digital blueprints.
Support the development of stakeholder presentations, reports, and workshop materials to communicate key recommendations.
Provide structured support in the planning and execution of digital transformation projects.
Identify opportunities for process re-engineering, innovation, and technology adoption within public sector organisations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, conduct analyses, and contribute to solutioning and implementation plans.
3. Project Management Office (PMO) Support
Assist in project planning, resource management, and milestone tracking for digital strategy and transformation engagements.
Monitor project performance and risks, supporting mitigation planning and status reporting.
Drive coordination among internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
4. Stakeholder Engagement
Build strong working relationships with clients.
Support and participate in client meetings, workshops, and presentations, capturing insights and ensuring alignment with project goals.
Skills & Attributes:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Proven ability to work in dynamic environments and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Familiarity with digital technologies, enterprise architecture, or public sector innovation trends is an advantage.
PMP, Prince2, Agile, or other project management certifications are a plus.
Experience & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, Public Policy, or related fields.
3–8 years of relevant experience in consulting, IT project delivery, digital transformation, or PMO roles.

The Opportunity
As a Project Manager / PMO within EY’s Digital Engineering team, you will be responsible for driving the successful execution of software engineering projects that support clients' digital transformation goals. You will oversee project planning, delivery, governance, and coordination across cross-functional software engineering teams. Your role will be crucial in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end project delivery for software engineering initiatives, from initiation through deployment
Work closely with engineering leads, product owners, and stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables
Establish governance, reporting, and risk management practices for ongoing software development projects
Ensure alignment with agile practices by facilitating sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
Monitor progress against project milestones and budgets, ensuring transparent communication with stakeholders
Coordinate cross-functional teams (frontend, backend, QA, DevOps) to ensure smooth collaboration and execution
Drive continuous improvement of delivery processes, including automation, documentation, and quality assurance
Support resource planning, capacity tracking, and talent utilization across the engineering delivery portfolio
Technology Environment (You’ll work alongside engineering teams using)
Frontend: React, Angular, Next.js, TypeScript
DevSecOps & Tools: Jira, Confluence, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Selenium, Playwright, JMeter
To Qualify, You Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
5+ years of experience in project or delivery management, ideally in a software engineering or technology consulting environment
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile delivery methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
Proven track record of managing software engineering or digital platform projects across cloud-native or enterprise environments
Familiarity with software engineering concepts and technical workflows
Excellent stakeholder management, team coordination, and communication skills
PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master certification is a plus
