JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for sustaining & improving the wafer backend/coating process
- Execute process engineering tasks & support production to meet process KPIs – Output, Quality & Scrap Cost
- Monitor, maintain and qualify process, equipment/tools/fixtures for production used
- Perform periodic verification and process related disposition
- Experience with wafer backend process is a significant advantage for this position, as it will enhance the candidate's ability to achieve precise and accurate equipment setups.
- Observational skills to notice discrepancies, understand the manufacturing process in detail, troubleshooting at an appropriate level and involving senior members of staff
- Communication skill to communicate and interface well with peers, enhance teamwork
- Emotional intelligence
- Derive Continual Improvement and use of resources
- Performing any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.
- Program, troubleshoot and maintain manufacturing process equipment as required to meet the required yield target
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma of Engineering preferably majoring in Mechatronics/Mechanical/Electrical.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in semiconductor industries, preferably 8 years’ experience working in high mix and high-volume manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
- Willing to work on 12-hours shift, independently and able to solve basic technical issues.
- Good computer literacy, SPC & OPAC knowledge.
- Must exhibit a strong sense of analytical skills with hands on working attitude.
- Adaptable and flexible to rapid changes to the business needs of the company.
- Good knowledge of mechanical dimensioning & tolerancing analysis, poka-yoke principles will be an added advantage.
- Experience in semiconductor wafer backend manufacturing processesis preferred- Coating/Die Saw/Scribe/Cleaveprocess
- Assist engineers & perform any duties as directed by the immediate supervisor from time to time.
