The Technical Sales executive will be responsible for account management, lead generation, sales operations, and business development activities. The role requires strong knowledge in data centre solutions, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Technical Sales Engineer
Job Purpose
The Sales Professional contribute to the achievement of sales objectives by prospecting his/her market and/or driving the Distribution network, if necessary. Benchmark and analyse customer needs by providing advice and/or technical communication and respecting the sales process in order to verify SECO products and services. Follow the files in studies and participate in the implementation at the customers. The Technical Sales Engineer reports to the Market/Sales Manager of the country
Main activities
Drive metal-cutting tooling sales growth within established customer accounts. Promote and sell the organization’s product and services. Manage and provide technical expertise, cultivate strong customer relationships, and enhance productivity and savings for top clients. Thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a keen understanding of CNC machining, milling, and lathe applications, and excel at problem-solving and strategic thinking.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and nurture established customer relationships to ensure retention and loyalty.
- Grow market share within assigned customer accounts by identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Monitor account activity closely to ensure all sales goals are met and exceeded.
- Develop new business opportunities with high potential customers within the territory.
- Conduct regular visits to assigned customer accounts to introduce new products, promote existing offerings, and address any concerns or inquiries.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts, providing timely assistance and troubleshooting as needed.
- Collaborate with Account Development or Sales Team to capitalize on opportunities.
- Create and present compelling proposals for new business opportunities, leveraging a deep understanding of our products/services and customer needs.
- Utilize CRM software to track sales activities, maintain accurate records, and facilitate effective communication with customers and internal teams.
- Provide technical expertise on products, including product lifecycle management and customer cost-saving initiatives.
- Establish annual, quarterly, monthly or weekly sales plans and prioritize and schedule own activities so these targets are met.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and industry developments to continuously enhance customer productivity and satisfaction.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to support existing accounts and secure new business opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Manufacturing, or Engineering preferred.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in the machining industry.
- Strong business acumen to comprehend key customers, distribution partners, and competitors within the assigned territory.
- Experience with structured sales processes, professional selling skills, and strategic selling methodologies preferred. Candidates with strong technical and industry expertise willing to learn sales processes and techniques are also encouraged to apply.
- Highly self-motivated individual with a solid understanding of the metal-cutting industry.
- Experience working in a CNC environment, including programming, engineering, and product design.
- Ideally located within the area of responsibility for this position.
- Previous experience as a metal-cutting salesperson preferred but not required.
- High aptitude for time management and organizational skills.
- Exceptional competency in CNC machining.
- Ability to establish new customer relationships.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

As a Cloud Technical Seller , you will be instrumental in driving technology solutions for our clients. A strong understanding of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, along with professional-level certifications, is essential.
In this key technical sales role within our team, you will demonstrate a consultative selling approach, technical and market eminence, and the ability to support the implementation of the solutions sold. Experience in diverse hybrid cloud computing technologies across public, private, and hybrid enterprise operating models is highly desirable, coupled with a proven track record of excelling in a customer-centric technical sales role.
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Strategy & IT Transformation:
Collaborate with customers to evaluate their current IT landscape and develop a cloud strategy that aligns with business objectives.
Extensive knowledge of Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud to deliver strategic cloud solutions.
Establish cloud governance models, Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE), FinOps, and Platform Engineering.
Recommend modernization approaches for applications, infrastructure, and IT operations.
Assist customers in cloud adoption.
Advise on hybrid and multi-cloud environments, ensuring seamless integration and security.
Business Growth & Executive Engagement:
Partner with executives to define and drive business growth strategies through technology transformation.
Identify new business opportunities and provide insights on market trends and cloud adoption.

Required Skills and Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud strategy consulting, IT transformation, or technology advisory.
Extensive experience in defining cloud strategies and operating models.
Proven ability to engage with executives and senior stakeholders to drive business growth.
Experience in creating Statements of Work (SOWs), client proposals, and transformation points of view (POVs).
In-depth knowledge of cloud computing principles, hybrid cloud, and multi-cloud.
Expertise in one or more public cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps, and FinOps.
Demonstrated sales experience to meet customer needs and achieve sales targets.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional-level certification in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Google Professional Cloud Architect).
Understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments.
Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM), governance models, and cloud operating frameworks.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions.

Planning and Coordination:Project engineers/coordinators are responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating engineering projects from start to finish. This includes defining project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with stakeholders.
Resource Management:They manage resources such as personnel, equipment, and materials required for project execution. This involves scheduling tasks, assigning responsibilities, and ensuring that resources are utilized efficiently.
Technical Expertise:Project engineers/coordinators apply their technical knowledge to oversee engineering design, construction, installation, maintenance, and operations. They may review technical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
Budget and Cost Control:They develop and monitor project budgets, ensuring that projects are completed within budgetary constraints. This includes tracking expenses, preparing cost estimates, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
