Develop and maintain core platform libraries used by engineering teams for:
Standardized logging (e.g., OpenTelemetry, ELK stack).

Feature flagging & configuration management .
Implement observability best practices , ensuring distributed tracing, logging, and alerting are built into every microservice.
Design and build CI/CD pipelines , enabling automated deployments and rollbacks .
Take ownership of performance tuning , ensuring the system is optimized for latency, concurrency, and throughput .
3. Architectural Governance & Technical Leadership
Conduct periodic architecture reviews , ensuring all new designs align with Teleport’s engineering best practices .
Lead design and solutioning discussions , ensuring architectural decisions are well-documented and backed by real-world constraints .
Collaborate with engineering leads and product managers to translate business goals into scalable and executable solutions .
Define technical standards , enforcing design patterns such as event-driven architecture, domain-driven design (DDD), and CQRS where appropriate.
Ensure secure and compliant system designs , especially for handling sensitive shipment data, financial transactions, and regulatory requirements .

5. Mentorship & Team Enablement
Provide technical mentorship to engineers, guiding them in best practices for system design, performance tuning, and debugging .
Conduct deep-dive code reviews , focusing on architectural correctness, scalability, and maintainability .
Work closely with DevOps and SRE teams to ensure systems are highly available and fault-tolerant .
